their best album but that's not saying a lot

This album is better than their other albums but their other albums weren't very good so saying that this album is better than their other albums says little about it.

If anything, Underoath comparisons has a leg to stand on, but everyone keeps forcing LP comparisons.

Underoath I can hear a little bit in the vocal style and some electronics but thats a bit of a stretch.

Plus Ollies voice sounds like Chesters on some tracks...

So fucking great.

Olllies voice does resemble Chester in moments. Like the beginning of the chorus sounds like the signature sing/scream of Hybrid and Meteiora days.

The way he sings "sleepwalking" in the chorus reminds me a bit of Hybrid Theory-era Chester, but other than that I don't see a lot of similarities with LP (except maybe for some of the electronic influences). But I haven't heard the full thing yet, so that might change.

It's in Empire that he sounds the most like chester.

Regardless those are the only moments where there is any similarities between the 2 bands.

Not surprised this song was picked as a single. It's simple, mainstream-ish, and has a memorable and easy to sing chorus...

The vocals on this song and Empire are reminiscent of Hybrid Theory-era LP, just listen to him say sleepwalking and tell me he doesn't sound like Chester Bennington did.

The reason people are drawing LP comparisons are because of some of Oli's vocals on some parts I think, not necessarily the music. I know in this song in particular I noticed that his vocals sounded a lot like some of the choruses off of LP's older stuff.
