"Oh - so this is what Maynard's been doing instead of focusing on that new Tool album..."

I love his voice but he's a bit of a fucking nut. I don't think he knows what he's doing half the time of the day.

And yeah, of course. As soon as he announced the delay I knew he was either secretly working on APC or Puscifer. It's like he's afraid to get back in the studio with Tool.

I'm jamming this right now, it's good.

i mean, you can't really force a new tool album. Rather have a new album where they are actually focused and in the right mind than doing it cause the fans want it right now.

As a Tool fan I must say I hate Tool fans. I'd rather them not rush making this and be something disappointing. When they're absolutely focused and ready to finish it I'm sure it'll rule.

I never said I wanted them to rush to make the album. And no kidding it will rule, but we also might be 80 by the time it's out.

I like the two new songs. Don't care for the remixes or anything.

I love how everyone in this thread actually thinks there will ever be a new Tool album. lol yeah, right. Just like there is going to be new APC. Dream on.

I feel sorry for the members in Tool. Everyone is expecting a 5/5 album from them. No wonder why Maynard is postponing it.

He should be enjoying what he makes. Not wondering if it'll be Tool's greatest achievement.

I'd be shocked if there wasn't. In fact, aside from some very unexpected turn of events, I'm almost certain there will be one. There's no reason there wouldn't be one.

Tool should just go instrumental. "Fuck you Maynard, we're releasing this shit without you."

That would imply that Tool are actually making an album...

Yeah, i'm more looking forward to an APC album or maybe another Tool album.. But definitely don't force a Tool album if Maynard isn't ready yet.

Guys, 9 years (APC) and 7 years (Tool) are not good signs. It is called "development hell" in the realms of film and games for a reason. This is why I say dream on. I mean, you all don't honestly expect Kingdom Hearts 3 or Half Life 2 Episode 3/Half Life 3 to ever come out, do you?

And as for "not rushing", there is a difference between being rushed and not doing jack shit because
you are so comfortable making your audience become utterly rabid during the wait.

If they are indeed going to make a new album, they need to get on with it already. As I have said
before. One you hit 6 years, nothing will ever live up to the wait.

@LilLioness

Tool have always been an expection.Sure Maynard handles things like a little spoilt girl, but Danny Carey has already said the new album will definitely be out this year and not to listen to Maynard.

He does it to fuck with the fans.

Plus, Tool have never done a bad album, and they've been doing this shit since they started, so I'm fairly confident it will be good at the very least.

Tool is also doing a small tour in Australia this year, so they're definitely active.

Shit. I need this in my life? What extra is on it, or is it remastered tracks?
