New Touche Amore Music Video

2013-01-08 by resident kpop trash | 16 Comments
Ringing in the new year, Touché Amoré has released a new music video filmed by Max Moore, a cinematographer who has also worked with other Deathwish bands such as Converge, Code Orange Kids and Whips/Chains. The song, 'Gravity, Metaphorically', is taken from their split with Pianos Become the Teeth.

In regards to the direction of the music video, Jeremy Bolm, Touché Amoré's vocalist, had commented:
"When creating any sort of art.. whether it’s music, a painting, photography, etc. What makes it so special is the inspiration or interpretation someone may take from it. This is what fueled having Max Moore film a music video for our song “Gravity, Metaphorically”. TA has traditionally kept all things visual in house, but when Max approached Deathwish about working with us, we decided it could be fun to have someone we’ve never met create something based solely on the music provided...What he’s made is an impressive step outside anything we’ve done before and it’s done with his own brand of chaotic and dramatic visuals. We hope you enjoy."

at least its actually a video of something and not a generic music video of the band playing with gimmick ie lazers, things hanging from the ceiling, on a beach, in a desert

Song was pretty shit up until the part where the band decided they were Pianos. Video was equally shitty up until that point. I'm really starting to dislike this band

This is from the same guy who shot Converge - Aimless arrow. I loved that one but this one is pretty okay too!
