meh
| |
Dammit!!! Drunk me read this as ATDI. Fuck all of you.
| |
website is overloaded
can't believe they have that many fans
| |
Did not expect them to head back into a heavier direction again after WSMFY.
Song wasn't bad. I will wait for the album to reserve full judgment.
| |
Where have you been the past five years
| |
sounds like they totally dropped the pop-punk aspect of their sound.
| |
Wow, don't like ADTR, but that song fucking crushes. Love it, and I'm psyched for the new album if that's what its gonna sound like.
| |
Well it's definitely better than anything on their last album.
| |
Awesome I was hoping they would expand more on this aspect of their sound the last album was severely lacking it.
| |
Yeah this is kinda cool, at least it doesnt border on pop like their last album and it least its not all i want
| |
They're finally growing up.
That being said, it's still meh.
| |
painfully bad.
| |
Hmm, it was ehh. Enjoyed a few parts, but that chorus was really bad.
| |
Was alright
| |
:D :D:D:D:D:D:D
| |
I really like this song.
| |
Whoaaa, so that was pretty sick.
| |
An improvement? Still kinda meh. Lyrics were pretty terrible too (from what I caught).
| |
Meh not great, but not bad.
| |
Nothing special.
| |
Pretty bad.
| |
shit tonne better than anything they've done before imo
| |
better than their last album
| |
where is the pop punk
it's okay, bit disappointing
| |
Was average
| |
rules
| |
sounded pretty damn decent to me.
| |
I like this band but this is still basically the same song they've written 100 times already
| |
Meh, didn't even realise this band was still relevant.
| |
found this band to be the band to write a couple of gems in each album, but the rest meh.
| |
Meh.
| |
Wasn't expecting it to be that heavy, with that said not bad at all.
| |
Meh. [10]
| |
I cant get it to play for some reason. I'll try it again later.
| |
it's ok, will probably grow on me more like their last album did
| |
I hated the their last release.
| |
all that hype for a laughably generic metalcore song with cleans
| |
Chorus felt really weak, but enjoyed the rest.
| |
i'm surprised that sputnik isn't tearing it apart, but for the most part their fans are sheep who eat up anything they put out so i'm not surprised in that respect.
| |
This is amazing for ADTR. They've definitely evolved their sound.
| |
its bad surprise surprise
| |
HAHAAAAAAA I'm not even gonna edit that comment either
| |
These guys are turds
| |
wish it was more pop punk-ish, cause im not a huge fan of their attempts to sound heavy. still dig it though
| |
Damn that was really disappointing
| |
Yeah I didn't like that song at all
| |
the screams were good but i expected the song to be more fun
| |
rockin song. hopefully this'll be the direction of the entire album.
| |
i'm with andcas. they need to focus more on the pop punk
| |
sounds okay i guess. end breakdown is laughable
| |
I wasn't crazy about the chorus, but it was pretty decent still.
| |
Imo they are cringe worthy when they focus on either their metalcore or pop rock(no I'm not calling adtr pop-punk) side, they're better when they balance their style. I used to like these guys, but I can't say i do anymore
| |
Hesitant to even listen to this.
| |
Guys, what browser are you using? Nothing makes that damn link work. The site loads, but the song won't play.
| |
i'm with andcas. they need to focus more on the pop punk [2]
monument is probs my favorite song by them
| |
this whole countdown was for a single? fuck me,
i thought they were releasing the album.
| |
They always release heavier tracks before the album release it seems..
| |
what merpmerp said. i thought the entire album was gonna be released today i'm pissed
| |
^ seriously. they had a whole countdown like it was some big thing... and it's a fucking single. this band sucks.
| |
yeah i'm not that happy with them right now
| |
i forgot about that countdown, lol that it was for this
| |
why is there another timer on their website?
| |
guess they're releasing another song tomorrow? hopefully it's more catchy
| |
pretty sure they're edging away from the catchier sound because they're still feuding with victory. and i think they self produced this album as well
i'm pretty excited
| |
"you guys are pretty dumb thinking it was a countdown for the album"
made sense to me. I thought they were trying to be edgy by releasing their new album on 12/21/12 (the last day of earth!)
| |
"you guys are pretty dumb thinking it was a countdown for the album.
they would've definitely said something about it if that was the case"
well they hadn't released new music in two years. So when I saw that countdown I sort of expected something bigger than a single. seemed right to me.
| |
lol you guys are honestly saying that you thought a day to remember would just randomly release an album with almost no hype and not even an album cover
| |
it wasn't just the fact that it was a countdown, it was the fact that the countdown ended on doomsday
| |
"lol you guys are honestly saying that you thought a day to remember would just randomly release an album with almost no hype and not even an album cover"
no hype? they released some video talking about a new album then set up a countdown. then everyday on facebook they would say "one week", "5 days", etc. they were hyping this up quite a bit.
| |
countdowns for singles are dumb
| |
except for see you next tuesdays
o w8
| |
not really, depends where they're released first in the world
and I live in the UK, where these guys aren't that big, so I wouldn't have heard much hype for a new
adtr album unless I'd been paying attention to news and shit on the internet recently, which I
haven't
honestly it's not that dumb of an assumption to make when you have your mind preoccupied and you see a
countdown for something music related
| |
they clearly weren't hyping an album though
| |
dude taylor swifts new album wasn't released on a tuesday. same goes for movies sometimes they release them on fridays for certain films.
| |
nope but taylor swift was a good example!
| |
they clearly weren't hyping an album though
like I said I wasn't really paying attention
| |
i was replying to merpmerp, my b
| |
DAT LAST MINUTE OF IT...
Chorus felt really weak, but enjoyed the rest.
Pretty much.
| |
chorus is pretty hit or miss. grew on me a little bit
jeremy's vocals have improved yet again
| |
This is literally one of the worst screamers I think I've ever heard live. Forget about singing also... makes it through 1.5 songs and is pretty much handing the mic to the front row.
| |
very true. seen them twice within the past 2 years and not one time did he hand a mic to anyone
| |
they sold out when they came to my town. by the time i got paid and could afford the tickets it was too late
| |
their tour with rise against and title fight was the best i've ever seen them
| |
Damn, that was pretty good.
| |
I'm happy the production is a step up from the last album at least
| |
I'm a Weeegeee board
| |
their tour with rise against and title fight was the best i've ever seen them [2]
| |
I like this a lot
| |
their tour with rise against and title fight was the best i've ever seen them [3]
| |
This actually was pretty decent. Reminds me a little of the For Those Who Have Heart Sound, but not quite as well executed.
| |
It's more similar to that album than it is any of their others
| |
Dug it. Good heavy song by them. Can't wait to see what the rest of the album is like.
| |
I have only ever liked the heavy ADTR songs. Their pop-punk shit was unbelievably annoying. That being said, this song was good.
| |
The reason Taylor Swift's new album was released on a Monday was to inflate sales numbers during the first week. It was pretty much the only way to top Speak Now's first week.
Also, I've never had a problem with Jeremy's live vocals. Saw them in 07 and 09 I think and he's done the whole set pretty flawlessly both times.
| |
yeah ive seen them twice and no problems with vocals
| |
"news flash: albums are pretty much always released on tuesday."
unless your band name is glassjaw
| |
Sounds more scene than ever. Of Mice & Men and Word Alive.
| |
painfully decent. except for this goddamn breakdown I'm hearing near the ending.
That was much much better than anything off their last album. Good for them. Hope they do well.
| |
WHATS THE WORLD GONNA SAY WHEN I CALL YOUR BLUFF PUNK
lol
sounds like a heavy song from Homesick mixed with a heavy song from WSMFY
so its alright
| |
"really? sounds like a "djent" version of 2nd sucks to me."
i don't really see how this sounds like djent.
| |
The heavy parts were alright, but the chorus sucks.
| |
I have only ever liked the heavy ADTR songs. Their pop-punk shit was unbelievably annoying. That being said, this song was good.
THIS
| |
As the consummate and irrefutable authority on mediocre junz, this is entertaining, but not great. It's enjoyable for what it is, but that's really about it.
Also, don't you fucking use the word 'djent,' least of all in reference to ADTR.
| |
yeah for all their annoying qualities, wanting to be djent was never one of them
| |
DON'T YOU USE THAT FUCKING WORD YOU DIRTY INTERNET FACE
| |
DJENT DJENT DJENT DJENT DJENT DJMOTHERFUCKINGENT
| |
Doesn't sounds like "djent" at all.
Just a bunch of typical generic chugs.
| |
Band sounds pretty serious on this
| |
pretty miserable
| |
pretty un-miserable
| |
That was pretty damn decent. I think his harsh vocals have improved. I tend to prefer their metalcore stuff over the pop punk, except for cases of really corny/awkward moments such as:
MARK MY WORDS WE ARE TAKING OVER THE WORLD
And who can forget:
DISRESPECT YOUR SURROUNDINGS
I've always found these guys interesting, but never anything to get too crazy about.
| |
Wow a song with open note junz rhythm guitar! I've never heard that before!
How these guys managed to get even worse is beyond me
Sounds like fucking Attack Attack! or some shit
| |
Remember when bands had to have interesting guitar parts for people to like them?
Now it's all "the screams are good omg"
| |
Anyone who likes this song is a fucking idiot
Pixies - Doolittle
| |
The day I listened to this is a day I wont remember
| |
The day I listened to this is a day I wont remember
| |
It's interesting what they're doing for the song. The "chorus" of the song isn't a chorus actually, it's a pre-chorus. The chorus is when they state 'violence.'
I'd like to call that interesting, but I like recognizing ADTR for their catchy choruses. The pre-chorus wasn't catchy, and if it was intended for it to be a chorus, it didn't work.
As for the rest of the song, it was actually pretty good. I still need to hear more before making a call on their album...but if they keep it in this direction, it could be awesome!
| |
Their pop punk side is so much better than their metalcore side. Song was like a 3-3.5.
| |
Chorus sucked. If they're dropping their pop-punk side I'll be pissed. Their metalcore skills are very lacking. Bring back your For Those Who Have Heart style please ADTR
| |
I'd much rather they drop the shitty pop punk
| |
they should drop both pop punk and metalcore
| |
Band has a lot of potential, hope it shows on next album
| |
That was really bad. Especially that cheesy breakdown at 3 minutes.
| |
JUNZ JUNZ JUNZ JUNZ JUNZ JUNZ
Sing sing JUNZ JUNZ scream scream JUNZ JUNZ
| |
Catchy as fuck
| |
that was brutal bro
| |
wow..cool song, bro.
| |
Pretty suprised that they didnt contiune with the catchy pop punk after WSMFY but this is good nevertheless
| |
as someone who's never really listened to them before, i thought this was awesome.
| |
The song is completely mediocre though
| |
To my knowledge it was produced by ADTR, Tom Denny, and Chad Gilbert.
| |
Not that bad. I recently picked up on them, and I'm not a big fan of only screamo music. With that said, those screams were different than how I've heard Jeremy before...I kinda liked it
| |
Damn, I guess they REALLY hated the airplay.
| |
if i leave bet you'll wish i'd stayed
| |
Just more of the same. His screams suck donkey nuts. But his cleans have gotten better. 3/5. Not bad but nothing groundbreaking or anything we havent heard from them.
| |
That's a shame. Because Jeremy's vocals on "for those who have heart" were great.
| |
Pretty good. better than anything off their last album
| |
"better than anything off their last album"
NO
| |
Oh yeah, I did forget "You Be Tails I'll Be Sonic", well it's better than most of it
| |
This band is actually really fun, nothing groundbreaking but good summer music with shit loads of nostalgia thrown in.
| |
you be tails isn't even one of the better songs on the last album.
i'm with andcas. my favorite songs on last album were if i leave, all i want, and all signs point to lauderdale.
| |
If I leave is cool. All I want good, but all signs point to Lauderdale is really annoying
| |
They're in the 128 pack
| |
when is this album coming out
| |
Substance, give me substance NOT sunsets, give me sunsets...
lolz...
| |
Lol. I thought this song wasn't that bad. In a interview Jeremy said that Tom Denney does rap vocals in a song.
| |
That's what I said.
| |
I actually like it
| |
