It's so funny whose calling out NOLA. The robbery went down in a Denny's parking lot in freaking
Metairie, LA. Not some ghetto area of the city, a freaking suburb. Not even the city of New Orleans.


Look I love this band, I even booked/promoted their show in New Orleans.

But grow some common sense, and don't leave $10,000 in your van in the corner of a Denny's parking
lot.

Also, this city is the home of sludge metal (Eyehategod, Crowbar, Thou) and jazz and funk.

Generally, the state of Louisiana sucks as a whole...but New Orleans itself freaking rules! If you beg to differ, then you obviously haven't visited this wonderful city. I don't even get why a band would travel to the suburbs to eat, when they could eat a wonderful meal in New Orleans.

I wasnt calling out NOLA necessarily. I said New Orleans, because i highly doubt many people here know where the hell Metarie is. I live in the area, but tours intentionally avoid the south for one reason or another. When other bands hear "Oh, so and so was robbed there" they may avoid going there, thus hurting our reputation even more.

I do agree that NOLA is the only good thing about this shit hole state.
