From what I have inferred talking to Travis, I think this album is going to be heavier and darker. I think they are keeping the melodic singing, but it won't be as hook based.

A little birdie told me this was coming out in February. Not confirmed directly by anyone in the band though.

I sat in on a pre-production recording session the other day and all I can say is that this album is going to be heavier than the first. Imagine that same Barrow feel and tempo mixed with heavier tunings. They are using Baritone Jaguar's for the guitar work. This album is going to be great.
