I get the feeling this will make music easier to listen to but still just the same old pile of shit
| |
I'm vaguely interested in this. Has to be better than Google+, right?
| |
the video does look interesting and I am sick of Facebook. [2]
| |
kind of ironic since he played Sean Parker in The Social Network.
| |
all power to him. hopefully its successful in getting unknown bands a better chance at making it in the big leagues.
| |
This guy is actually a talented actor so it's hard to make fun of him.
| |
wow I expected that to be hilarious but it actually looks decent. dare I say, myspace is back
| |
This actually looks very promising
| |
SOOOOO STOKED.
the video does look interesting and I am sick of Facebook. [3]
| |
Still a bit unsure how I feel about this.
| |
Considering how trends die on the internet, Myspace would deserve respect if it manages to become popular again, the only thing keeping it alive were bands.
| |
I'll never forget when MySpace had a Secret Show in my town of Albuquerque, and it was Mastodon during their Crack The Skye tour. Was lucky enough to go with my brother, and it was a blast. Always thought it was rad that they would promote a free show for MySpace users. Music always seemed to come first with MySpace.
| |
I like that they're putting an emphasis on music, since that's all I used myspace for anyway.
| |
Good job, Justin!
| |
how many of us knew that it would be an andcas submitted news before clicking?
| |
Seems kinda interesting. Facebook is becoming tiresome, so I might give this one a try.
| |
omg me too!
| |
it's funny because yesterday I saw the news on absolutepunk and I thought it was kinda cool but it seemed like something that andcas would write about... and look at it now!
| |
life imitates art based on real life? i guess?
| |
it makes no difference if stupid people can't comprehend what's talent and not
| |
it could create another frickin bieber for christ sake
| |
works both ways i guess
| |
It's not hard to gain exposure from facebook. You could even play shit music and do really well on facebook. Populate your page and share the fuck out of it.
| |
this is sure to take off. just like google plus
| |
"I still prefer experiences I had on myspace compared to facebook."
I lost my virginity on there
| |
Actually looks good

| |
i've been on fb for almost 4 years and i'm a lot less sick of it than myspace
| |
cleveage shots and dtf messages?
| |
yeah talking to women is really repetitive agreed
| |
lol rob g wit da truthhh
| |
found all the pop punk bands in existence
| |
"facebook gets repetitive and boring which is why I rarely even use it."
peoples lives are repetitive and b oring????? what dazzling insight
| |
looks decent, surprisingly
| |
if the mobile app actually works (ehem, facebook), i will use this.
| |
I'll sign up for this probably, facebook is annoying the hell out of me.
| |
I know its gifoty I better win an award.
| |
"I remember it being e-harmony for scene kids wanting to hook up."
ahhh the memories. i still recall about 80% of the comments to Tom's statuses being said scene kids with all of their desperate "add meeee!!" comments...goooood times
| |
myspace pimping. those were the days.
| |
Tom was like the greatest Myspace pimp of them all back in the day and he didn't even know it
| |
I wonder how many users even remember when myspace ruled.
damn that takes me back to a past filled with neon collors and hollywood undead... *shivers*
| |
I never used myspace for social networking (I used bebo instead), but it was very handy for finding new music. Certainly easier than having to use YouTube when my Internet is shitty.
| |
recspecs, that victoria justice avatar seems unusually attractive.
| |
This the most ironic thing, hahah
| |
"recspecs, that victoria justice avatar seems unusually attractive."
I pop a boner every time I log into sputnik.
| |
But the problem is that we all know the quality of music that myspace has "founded" is pretty fucking horrible on the whole. But hopefully some awesome underground bands will get a chance
| |
man timberlake is gonna fuck 'uardo over AGAIN! unreal
| |
Facebook-meets-Instagram is just Tumblr though isn't it?
| |
To succeed ti just needs to draw the people back, and since you can sign in via FB I hope this becomes the case.
Not saying I'm going to reactivate though, depends on where the people I network with for gigs go.
| |
Good ideas.
| |
I still prefer experiences I had on myspace compared to facebook. [2]
I'm pretty much over social networking in general but yeah
probably was because I was 15 and myspace was teh hip
| |
having music to match the mood was cool but that's about it really
| |
I changed my myspace song like 3 or 4 times a week back in the day lul
| |
I mean, this isn't even Myspace anymore. Timberlake's resurrecting the website's dated skeleton and transforming it into something entirely new, which is admirable.
However, in terms of originality it leaves much to be desired. The new layout looks like a Pinterest that isn't just meant for your girlfriend, and the music services seem a little unnecessary considering Spotify, Pandora, etc. on the rise.
That layout's lovely though.
| |
I don't want to have to switch again
It took me until 2010 to get on board w/ FB
| |
i remember my friends dropped one by one and then there were only 3 of us left that were still active. then you look on fb and everyone was doing the same thing they were doing on myspace. weird times.
| |
Seems like an entirely new entity, but it still retains the Myspace name... The name alone will get people interested, should be interesting to see how this turns out.
| |
might be dope
| |
Once he's done with this venture he should revamp Sputnik.
| |
Looks kinda cool but since they don't explain anything i'm not sure how it's supposed to work.
I never used myspace so.
Actually i don't use any social networking site besides Tumblr and Youtube(if that qualifies)
| |
1 good thing about this is that when a blog posts a link to a band's myspace page I won't just skip out on checking them out because myspace is so beyond ghetto. I'll be sure to check it out.
| |
Looks cool, but too complicated to pick up... Social networking is starting to get too tedious to keep up.
| |
tbh? sexy.

What finesse Kate Bush has. Her vocal dexterity is truly comparable to none; her pure singing, akin to her graceful dance, gliding so effortlessly like a skater on ice. This demonstration of her beautiful dancing, all thanks to Lindsay Kemp of course, really completes the ultimate message so many of her songs convey; she is so full of ardor, and she must show it, whatever the circumstance, whoever this 'stranger' she mentions really is. Oh! The hurt done from this person who deprived her of love.
