Well diamond eyes and rocket skates were released first, and those were the weakest tracks on their last album i thought. still good songs, but not as good as the rest. If that's the case here, then we might be in for something great.

I like that Stephen isn't using 8 strings guitars on this, that was my only complaint with their last album. The 8 string didn't really fit with a few of the songs on Diamond Eyes.

I was trying to keep myself virgin until this album drops, but with all the overwhelming positivity...
maybe just one listen.

Not as mindblowing as the best tracks on Diamond Eyes (how people dislike that record is beyond me,
it's fucking amazing and their best imo) but it's still god damn excellent and this will be one of
the best albums this year.

Deftones are probably my favourite band, but this song was kind of iffy for me. The only bit that really hit home was the bridge section, but I don't know what to think of the rest. With that said, Diamond Eyes was a real grower and that's now my favourite, so we'll see how this goes.

i hope the album has more 'spacing' as diamond eyes was a good package, but all the songs had somewhat of the same form... do you know what i mean? more dynamics. maybe one song of just screaming and madness and more soothing things.

This song is very good. It doesn't sound generic. It isn't nu-metal. Saturday Night Wrist is their best album hands down. It has the soft-hard contrast that DE lacked. This song absolutely is NOT way better than Saturday Night Wrist.

It's a little different from the stuff on diamond eyes, but not by a whole lot. Was decent. I wasn't blown away. Then again, that's usually how deftones songs are until they soak in so maybe it will be good @ some point.
