Sometimes greatness takes a lifetime to emerge. After working, practicing, lot's of sweat on the brow and some blood on the fingers, if you are lucky you might make it one day. Maybe even be a star. But not just any star. A ROCKSTAR.
Such is the case of one Justin Howard, aka Nordic Thunder. After many years of hoping, praying, and playing with himself, Justin is now just the kind of riff wanker he always dreamed of being.
This past Saturday in the shadows of talent such as the aptly named Airistotle, Tremelo Theun, Juan Nightstand, and Wah Wah Willie, Nordic Thunder rose above the competition to win the 17th Annual Air Guitar World Championships, held this year in Oulu, Finland.
The second time was the charm for Thunder as last year his skills only got him to the final round. But with another year of hard work and dedication under his strap he quietly entered this years event via the "Dark Horse" competition, held for just one day and for a lucky few. The rest, as they say, is Guitar God history.
Be prepared to be....amazed.
