New Dismemberment Plan Songs 2012-08-14 by timbo8 | 9 Comments | The Dismemberment Plan debuted eight new songs in small-venue shows in Baltimore and Fredericksburg, Va this past weekend. The band has reunited to play live shows in 2007 and from 2011 until the present, but the eight songs represent the first new music to come out from the band since their last LP Change was released in 2001. On the Dismemberment Plan's Facebook page, lead singer Travis Morrison said "We have a bunch more [new songs] coming so we're going back to the lab to work on brand new ones and tweak these. No plans for recording as of yet, although certainly those conversations are happening now." Earlier today, the Dismemberment Plan also announced that they would be playing at Virgin Mobile Freefest October 6th.
