Avant-garde act Kayo Dot have announced dates for their upcoming west coast tour beginning in Portland on August 18 in support of their latest album Gamma Knife. Tour dates are as follows:

August 18 - East End - Portland, OR
August 19 - Northern - Olympia, WA
August 21 - Oakland Metro an Opera House - Oakland, CA
August 23 - Z Club (The Z) - San Luis Obispo, CA
August 24 - Biko Garage - Isla Vista, CA
August 25 - The Mezz - Los Angeles, CA with miRthkon and The Anti-Job
August 27 - TBC - Santa Cruz, CA
August 28 - Elbo Room - San Francisco, CA with miRthkon
August 29 - Cafe Coda - Chico, CA with West By Swan
August 31 - Zoo Zhop Record Store - Vancouver, BC
September 1 - Highline - Seattle, WA

I posted this in one of the threads, but for anyone interested about what they've been playing: at the Boston show they played all of Gamma Knife except for Lethe, Marathon and Aura on an Asylum Wall. They only got an hour set, which kind of sucked, but the songs made for it.
