St. Vincent & Byrne Album

2012-06-14 by robin | 16 Comments
Pitchfork reports that David Byrne and St. Vincent will make about every seasoned indie fan insanely excited by releasing a collaborative album later this year. St. Vincent's Annie Clark said that the album, titled 'Love This Giant', featured the two going half-and-half on songwriting and performing duties. The album will also feature a performance by the Dap-Kings.

The album is out on the 11th of September, this year, and the duo go on tour together four days later. This follows a busy couple of years in Clark's career, with only a year behind Strange Mercy and even less behind her shockingly punk-y Record Store Day release.

Tracklisting:

1. Who

2. Weekend in the Dust

3. Dinner for Two

4. Ice Age

5. I Am an Ape

6. The Forest Awakes

7. I Should Watch TV

8. Lazarus

9. Optimist

10. Lightning

11. The One Who Broke Your Heart (ft. The Dap-Kings and Antibalas)

12. Outside of Space & Time

I listened to a bit of it, I don't remember the track name, but it was definitely great. Can't wait for this.
