Yeah this is probably in the 3.7-3.8 range for me, as their other two albums were. There's some fucking awesome stuff going on but at the same time the lack of variation/pacing prevents it from being any more entertaining.

This one looks preety interesting, but I only heard 3 songs from it yet...

The first two tracks and the last track on Stone's Reach are fantastic but the middle to the end of the album drags hard.

Venator is actually the weekest, followed very closely by aspect. Those tracks are 4 at best. Listen harder next time, the middle of the album is brilliant.

I mean, it's not like I've had the album for three years or anything.

I find Held in Hollows and Aspect really boring, and Sun's Delusion could have been shaved a little.

I was hoping all the songs would be around 6 minutes or less, oh well. Will definitely check this out, Stone's Reach is very good

I all honesty though, this is music you grow out of very quickly. It's nice to be reminded of the gateway music I used to listen to.

I will come back to the classics once in a blue moon but truthfully, I have a stack of albums on my desk that need my attention more. There is soooooooooooo much good music out there and I want to listen to as much as I can. When I hit a series of albums that absolutely suck, I revert back to my collection (which has been happening alot this year, been a disappointing year).
