This band still exists?
| |
Yup, and they're better than ever
still not great, it's HH.
| |
thank you MTV for making me search that song, which I doubt is good. : /
| |
Ugh
| |
i vaguely remember not hating skeletons when it came out maybe this will be halfway decent too
| |
Not too bad actually. New Memphis May Fire was better
| |
this does seem like a band you would like andcas.
| |
just wait til you here the new Memphis May Fire. I just submitted a news article for it
| |
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_YEscK-H1t8 Here is the Memphis May Fire link
| |
ohio is for lovers is an alright song but i never really got into this band when they were popular.
| |
Everything they did before the Hate EP sucked badly. It's nice to see them improve.
| |
"http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_YEscK-H1t8 Here is the Memphis May Fire link"
how is this any better or worse or different in any way to the hundreds of other genericore bands out there? we really do need to relegate these users to a sub-site or something.
| |
"HOLY FUCK that MMF song was good. REALLY good."
of course you would think that, the only thing you do on this site is submit articles about asking alexandria.
| |
^whats up with everyone fucking hatin on all these metalcore bands. 99% of metalcore is exactly the same. What do you want from them. I mean really. yeah its generic, but that doesnt automatically make it bad.
| |
Asking Alexandria does suck though, I will give you that.
| |
"of course you would think that, the only thing you do on this site is submit articles about asking alexandria."
Taking Snide seriously = dumb mistake.
| |
This band started up near me while I was in high school. All us "metal kids" hated on this band, and that's all I really know about them.
| |
give me an example of a good lyric, i really doubt they're very good.
| |
"This band started up near me while I was in high school. All us "metal kids" hated on this band, and that's all I really know about them."
Their newest effort - the Hate EP - isn't so bad. You probably won't like them too much either way, but that's fine.
| |
It took them nearly a decade, but they're finally making pretty damn good music. Good for them.
| |
I also was a kid in high school that prefered hard rock or the different subgenres of metal ,but I really enjoyed some pop punk and post hardcore bands, but I really dislike this as much as their comteporaries . This track didn't change my opinion and personally I don't think the hate for these guys is over-exaggerated ,because me and other people always found them as a bunch whinny kids, that always cried about their platonic love and ex girlfriends and I only can see in the in the musical part bad instrumentation and 3 guitar players that sucks dick.
| |
This news is 3 days late or something. Good song though.
| |
dont understand the hate for this band
| |
I agree with Snide completely on this one.
I enjoyed the track a little bit. It certainly was an improvement from their earlier work, although I never hated anything they did by any means. Granted, I didn't hear their entire discography.
| |
Song is good quality on MTV is AWFUL though, i need 320kbps -_-. hate Ep was absolutely fantastic. this band gets so much unnecessary hate, more than any other band i probably listen to.
| |
Hey it doesnt suck
| |
i can't make it on my ownn
| |
Song sounds sooooo much better than the majority of the last two albums.
| |
Shouldn't be as good as it is this really.
| |
"found them as a bunch whinny kids, that always cried about their
platonic love and ex girlfriends" that's every band from their era.
Yup, we hated them all.
That was like... 7 years ago, though, so their EP might be worth a listen. I'll put it at the bottom of the list.
| |
HH is streaming their whole new album on Myspace. Great album!!!
| |
This is a well crafted song actually. Unexpected.
| |
It sounds better than HATE! And I was a fan of their last album 'Skeletons' it wasn't whiny and it was about moving on so I enjoyed it. THEY ARE GOOD when they don't whine.
| |
I hate your avatar
| |
Who is screaming for them now?
| |
haven't listened to them in years but from what I hear I can start liking HH again?
| |
He emulates Calvert really well.
| |
I thought the Hate EP was a big step forward for these dudes but this reminds me a bit more of their earlier stuff. Which wasn't particularly bad, just immature and cliched. Usually really catchy though, and so is this.
| |
This song is pretty fun in an odd way. Sounds a lot like there OLD stuff.
| |
I hated their old stuff, a fuckin disgrace for the pop punk.
| |
Closer to post hardcore than pop punk but idk
| |
I found it hard to pigeonhole them into a particular genre *shrugs*
I can definitely see the post-hardcore, Storm. Guess I'm used to thinking about groups like Glassjaw when I hear that word.
| |
Why isn't this completely terrible? Kinda like it honestly. Production blows though.
| |
I think that's just MTV's shit quality, tbh. It'll definitely sound better when they officially release it (or it leaks)
| |
Hopefully that's the case. I'll probably check it out.
