Its All! was pretty fucking boring. I don't really expect much from them anymore

I liked It's All! Change of direction, but they needed it, and they did it well. No complaints.

I've seen them live since, and I can tell you, the new material sounds a lot like Brother, Sister. Aaron is more intense than ever. I'm very excited for this.

@Captain North: Did you see that video they posted a while back? Just listen to February 1878, they're going away from It's All... and back into the Catch Us For The Foxes sound.

I've heard a couple of these songs and they're pretty great - a nice return to form from It's All Crazy...

This is one of my favorite bands but I really hope they ditch the christian campfire songs like in "It's All Crazy.." They are capable of so much more. I'm optimistic though!

I legitimately think based on what they've said so far and live videos that this is going to be their best album yet.

^ If it is that would be sick. It'd be pretty hard to top Foxes, AB Life, or Brother Sister tho because I really really love those albums.

If they top Brother, Sister, I will probably have a seizure out of sheer happiness.

From what I've heard of February 1878, it's pushing towards being incredible. Can't wait to hear the official recorded version.

i remember reading an interview a few weeks before this was formally announced where they directly compared it to Brother, Sister.

i have some pretty high expectations for this, but i think they can pull it off.

It's not my favourite of theirs, but it's still great. The chorus of "Elephant in the Dock" could have been a lot better, and a little bit of the album feels like filler. Basically, what I think everyone will come to conclude when they hear it is: second half of the album >>>>>>>> first half of the album. The first half seems a lot more poppy in that the choruses are insanely infectious, and the latter half seems more atmospheric. Fox's Dream of the Log Flume is easily the best song on the album, in my opinion. "Nine Stories" has very gentle percussion, a faintly heard accordion (or so it sounds), and an absolutely gorgeous guitar melody, but Weiss' vocals are somewhat grating at times.
