Try Bullhead, their best album IMO, killer riffage and also a very influential album, Boris took their name after the first song in the album.

I love the Melvins, but it's about time they call it a day.

I would throw Stoner Witch as another album to throw on the list.

I started with Stoner Witch and Houdini when I got into the Melvins. Really dont think you could go wrong with either of those. Bullhead is good too but not quite as good (or accessible) as SW or Houdini.

yeah, i agree. I have played Bullhead a little more than twice now and i definitely feel that its a grower. Maybe ill hop on SW or Houdini some time soon
