Oddly the only album out of the 9 or 10 I've heard on that list that I like is Bon Iver.

Also fuck Liturgy the lead douche of that band absolutely killed any respect I had for their music.

I've heard them all except the Beyonce one. The best for me in this list are Girls and Kate Bush.

I have trouble taking this site (P4K) seriously. They critisize The Mars Volta and Nine Inch Nails for being pretentious and contrived, and then jerk off to nothing but new wave/indie/folk.

With that said, I often enjoy 90% of their best new music lists, I just think they have a very biased taste and target too specific of a demographic.

My problem is that there are some awesome albums on this list paired with shit albums.

Bon Iver is NOT the years' best record.... surely...

#17 and #15 should be much higher imo.
