And I've always thought Karen O/The Yeah Yeah Yeahs kind of sucked.

For me it's less about Reznor and more about Karen O, though I've not listened to much of her previous work.

Led Zeppelin are the gods. the song is amazing as well as this nearly perfect cover version is.

This cover was alright, but nowhere near the original.

Musically, I enjoy this version more than any other version I've yet heard, I love the dark tone, and I love Karen O's gigantic vocal performance over it. It takes the hooks, drags them through the mud, and hangs you from them, totally mechanical and menacing.

With that said, the concept of the song itself is best conveyed by the original I think, the tone better fits the story.

Interesting tidbit - Karen O had no idea who Zeppelin were at all, makes her performance all the better imo
