The Offspring officially back in the studio

2006-11-19 by Alex101 | 12 Comments
It's official. The Offspring have confirmed on their official website that they are finally back in the studio trying to finish their long-awaited new album. They are recording it at a studio in Hollywood, California by legendary producer Bob Rock, who is best known for producing Metallica albums.

The new album is not only their first since 2003's Splinter; it's also their first with Angels and Airwaves drummer Atom Willard, who joined the group in early 2003 during the recording of Splinter after the departure of Ron Welty, who appeared on all their albums, but he or Willard both remain uncredited on the album. Sesson drummer Josh Freese handled the drum tracks.

The new album is scheduled for a 2007 release and there still has been no official word on the title for the album. There has been some confirmation that a world tour would follow.

Isn't this just like a summary of the same news you posted a month ago?

Regardless, I'm excited.

I don't think you have to mention its not titled twice.

Good news, but this is something that is kinda already known as its been posted from time to time.
