Finally! Fucking stoked for this
Song has a nice, oldschool feeling. I like it.
|
| |
will probs check it out, not expecting much though
|
| |
Heard about this via FB earlier, 'bout time he released something!
Now if I could only get him un-banned from my city....
|
| |
I would love to hear him go back to an older Manson sound personally.
|
| |
He sucks
|
| |
Rather listen to new morbid angel
|
| |
I like the majority of what he's done, the controversy his early years created are really interesting.
|
| |
title reminds me of the new Shining heh :]
|
| |
I think this has the old, undustrial feel of Antichrist Superstar mixed with the heavier stuff on The Golden Age of Grotesque. I sure hope the whole album sounds like this
|
| |
Early years are all that really interest me Acanthus.
|
| |
I can see that, his poppier tracks are really hit and miss; I love the controversy however, his biography was great.
|
| |
I'm so stoked for this, been a fan since I was in middle school and hasn't changed at all. Eat Me, Drink Me was the only record I thought that was really lacking from him.
|
| |
I dont know man If I Was Your Vampire is still one of his best tunes imo
|
| |
"If I Was Your Vampire" rocks, this video reminds me of the way he describes his grandfather.
|
| |
Fuck yes been waiting for this. Hopefully its good.
|
| |
It all depends really, sometimes I enjoy the album a lot and other times I don't. Heart Shaped Glasses has a killer riff though, poppy but its catchy.
|
| |
I enjoyed the remix version they had on the Guitar Hero II OST personally.
|
| |
you guys dont support this monster he was the reason for the Columbine shootings
kids listen to his music and get all angry booooo manson stop corrupting the youth
|
| |
Lol Aids
|
| |
The song is good, the video though...that was a bit much.
|
| |
A website featuring a short film directed by Shia LaBeouf and starring Manson was also posted at the link below.
Warning: Do not watch if you're epileptic
|
| |
Just watched the video. It seems like hes going back to the heavy industrial feel this time, I hope the album doesnt suck. As long as hes got Twiggy with him still theres a chance it will rule.
|
| |
Yes Twiggy!
|
| |
His last record was pretty much like his older stuff for the most part, the singles anyway. Definitely wasn't as dark as this though.
|
| |
Meh The High End of Low had some pretty good tracks and was filled with good ideas but the execution was severely lacking. The ballads were nice at first but his vocals just aren't suited for that kind of songs. What really scared me was the fact that most of the accoustic bonus tracks were actually better than the original songs.
|
| |
"Suicide death metal" my ass.
Less creepy Manson reminds me of Snape.
|
| |
He really does love Jodorowsky's The Holy Mountain, doesn't he.
|
| |
Looks like he saw Salo as well.
|
| |
He looks really worn down in the video, I miss the shock Manson.
|
| |
Loving the weird-as-hell video, but the song is somewhat lacking. He sounds like he's gone back to an old school sound, but forgot to put in a hook.
|
| |
hard to think he'll put out something worthy. everyone was stoked Twiggy was back, but the album was mostly lacking. at least this time i hope the songs are aggressive
|
| |
I'm pretty stoked for this record regardless. Any Manson is a good manson to me.
|
| |
wow you guys aren't ripping him apart, what's happened to you?
"Due to the graphic nature of this content, you must be at least 18 years of age to view.

trolololololololololol sure
video is weird. more in a "trying too hard" way though. and I don't particularly like the song either. and manson's getting fat
so yeah, "washed up", is the phrase I think suitable here. and this is coming from someone who 4'd THEOL
|
| |
"Yes Twiggy!"
I saw them live on Valentines Day (which is really besides the point but) I swear Twiggy was staring at me through the entire show. I don't actually believe he was but he was looking in my direction the entire time and it felt like it.
It was really creepy.
|
| |
video was better than the song
|
| |
"wow you guys aren't ripping him apart,"
Portrait is still one of my favorite albums so I'll give him some props.
|
| |
I basically grew up with the help of Manson's music so I can't bring myself to rip him apart either :/
|
| |
I have three of his albums at 4 so I don't exactly hate him but this isn't getting me excited
|
| |
"Portrait" and "Smells" man. That shit was so theatrical. Then there was the video of him beating Twiggy's pecker with the mic.
MEMORIES,
LIKE THE CORNERS OF MY MIND....
|
| |
fuck yes omni, Portrait and Lunchbox were my two favourites from him
|
| |
Yeah I love Manson's early material and I can still enjoy his later material even though it doesn't even put a pimple on Antichrist's ass.
|
| |
oh joy
|
| |
Mechanical Animals has my favourite Manson song (Coma White)
|
| |
I prefer holy wood but they both rule.
EDIT; GOD WHY AM I SUCH A FANBOY
|
| |
this is not bad, actually
|
| |
"I prefer holy wood but they both rule."
I prefer holy wood overall (just)
|
| |
"fuck yes omni, Portrait and Lunchbox were my two favourites from him"
This mother fu k ers gonna get my m/
|
| |
mechanical animals was an iconic record with intense videos.
Sometimes I just... love you, andcas
|
| |
I thought everyone hated him? I know I did until i actually listened to his music junior year of high school. Guess i was late to that bandwagon.
Song sounds cool, hopefully the album is heavy. I miss heavy manson.
Video was fucking weird.
Yeah he's gettin chunky.
|
| |
Holy Wood is Mansons best. Nothing he does will ever compare. However, I hope this brings back that dark feel that Antichrist Superstar and Holy Wood had.
|
| |
EXCITED
|
| |
He said The High End of Low was supposed to have that Antichrist Superstar feel but it didnt. The whole love theme in the lyrics from Eat Me, Drink Me was still kind of lingering. I hope its still not with this one, it just doesnt suit him.
|
| |
I'm feeling optimistic for this yo.
|
| |
I wonder who their new drummer is gonna be since Ginger Fish left and joined Rob Zombie just like John 5 lol. Chris
Vrenna might wind up doing it again on the album though.
|
| |
*cautiously optimistic
Let's be serious now.
|
| |
Video was cool. Song had good and bad parts but the record could be good
|
| |
Fuck this guy.
|
| |
mm and rob zombie should just form a super group together.
it could rule
|
| |
watching video now
manson reminds me of that preacher from twisted metal black
|
| |
http://scifun.files.wordpress.com/2010/08/wtf-am-i-watching.png
|
| |
Yeah lol two of his best members ditched and joined Zombies band
|
| |
I honestly like rob zombie much more than manson.
That was a bitching video though
|
| |
I like both Rob Zombie and Manson. Can't decide which one I like better though.
|
| |
I prefer Manson by far, Zombie's newest album didn't even have a memorable single.
|
| |
"I would love to hear him go back to an older Manson sound personally."
As would I. His first record is the only one that's any good.
|
| |
Never been a fan.
|
| |
will be shit
|
| |
i think manson is real interesting, but i can't stand his music.
|
| |
dude is definitely overstaying his welcome. should consider progressing out of adolescent territory.
|
| |
Video was awesome, especially the eyeball in the vagina
|
| |
I really would like a surprise hard rocking track to be released next.
|
| |
He is indeed andcas
|
| |
Oh yes I love them, he is relatively knowledgeable about most things and is honest if he doesn't know about them; the older debate videos are how I got my mother into him actually.
|
| |
kind of hard to focus on the music through that haha
|
| |
shitty "artist."
|
| |
@Knave - I found the music the best part, "shock" videos have lost most of their shock lately and knowing that this one was from the Transformers kid didn't help
|
| |
I really enjoyed that video, not to mention "The Nobodies" which I hear is directly related.
|
| |
I like how he was the chick in "Starfuckers" a lot.
|
| |
I think I've heard that as well, he always seemed to me like he'd have more than one artistic output.
|
| |
Let's just kill everyone and let your god sort them out.
|
| |
Will do, have a documentary on Columbine to watch (another friend an I are talking Manson as well) and then I'll give it a look.
|
| |
the video like most of his was pretty cool. it looks like that Alejandro Jodorowsky dudes work.
|
| |
@andcas - I really enjoy the original version of "The Enabler" quite a bit.
|
| |
More of a fan of his older stuff when I was younger. First album of his I won't check out probably.
|
| |

Best thing ever
|
| |
fuck this
dude needs to give up
|
| |
A website featuring a short film directed by Shia LaBeouf and starring Manson was also posted at the link below.
Warning: Do not watch if you're epileptic
Or if you want to retain your sense of self-worth.
also, 123 Atavan
|
| |
Actually Eminem is the one that needs to give it up. Going to hear this now.
|
| |
Manson is a really civil guy, he just does this to make money.
|
| |
Even if this album blows I'm sure there'll still be some songs that rule.
|
| |
this faggot still makes 'music'?
also
what a stupid video, "use shock value i'll make more!'
|
| |
Now that was unnecessary.
|
| |
coma black > coma white
this might be good so I'm officially stoked!
|
| |
"coma black > coma white"
coma black is good but no
|
| |
fuck that videos was amazing
|
| |
oh Mari, you're so shocking and original
|
| |
"Rather listen to new morbid angel" [2]
Seriously.
|
| |
oh Mari, you're so shocking and original [2]
|
| |
His last two albums were the worst things ever so I am skeptical about this being any good.
|
| |
