The-Dream releases new mixtape 2011-08-31 by illmitch | 13 Comments | Dropping his pseudonym, R&B artist and songwriter The-Dream released his new mixtape, 1977, today under his birth name of Terius Nash.
1977 was initially announced in early August and had just had its opening track, "Wake Me When It's Over", released yesterday. He reported on his Twitter account that his record label, Def Jam, was none too pleased with his decision to release the mixtape for free.
