Thats a good idea letting the fans pick who they want to see. Ive never been to Ozzfest but my friends that went a few years ago said that Maiden and Sabbath ruled.

I was going to go last summer but System and Disturbed as the two main bands made me want to barf. Hopefully this year will have a better line up.
Edit: Hopefully this year will have a better mainstage lineup. I thought the second stage last year was pretty legit. The main was not to pleasing for me minus Sevenfold who I have already seen and DragonForce.This Message Edited On 11.09.06

Ozzfest in 2005 was my first heavy metal show, and to see some of my favorite bands like Trivium, Iron Maiden, and Black Sabbath really made it the best day of my life... i'd kill to go again!

Stevo2112 - Iron Maiden will never go to Ozzfest again unless somehow Bruce and Ozzy/Sharon make up for the major conflict they had.
FORTUNATELY the only ozzfest I went to was 2005 with Maiden and my God they were the best band

Yeah I really should have gone to that show. Maiden and Sabbath on the same stage is once in a lifetime. Plus Shadows Fall and In Flames were on the main stage and the second stage wasn't too shabby either.

You can't beat a lineup like Sabbath, Priest, Slayer, Dimmu Borgir, Lamb of God, and all of metalcore's best bands.

Man I agree with you all. But I would go for Ozzy alone, I mean after all he is the sh**! But In Flames, Arch Enemy, Shadow's fall all very fine choices. Odds are I would'nt be seen by the main stage at all, maybe just for Ozzy. But most the best bands there are on the second stage.
