Love it, a bit more than I did their debut.
|
| |
Surprisingly a really enjoyable album, definitely going to put a review up for this
|
| |
fan fuking tattiez
|
| |
(fantastic)
|
| |
"A guy goes nuts if he ain't got nobody. Don't make no difference who the guy is, long's he's with you. I tell ya, I tell ya," he cried, "I tell ya a guy gets lonely, an' he gets sick."
|
| |
pretty good. couple of tracks I don't like.
|
| |
Rocks hard. Perhaps more so than the debut, but only time will tell.
Although the very last song kinda sucks.
|
| |
i dont like track 2 only
|
| |
Ohioisonfire is kinda disappointing, musically it is really awesome but the clean vocals and the lyrics really kill its potential.
|
| |
Listening now, it's nice to have Austin back.
|
| |
Should have been longer
|
| |
wtf is this really supposed to be good? hahah damn i'm kinda excited to hear it then...I only liked Second & Sebring and This One's For You from the debut but that's not a bad thing since they both have over a 130 plays lol...
|
| |
You should listen to the stream then, the cleans found on both the tracks you mentioned appear far more often here it seems.
|
| |
The cleans are really pushed to the front in this particular album which is def a good thing. AND YES MY UNDERSTANDINGS NEEDS TO BE LONGER.
|
| |
Really enjoying "Ohioisonfire" right now -> "this is what you get when you fuck with the classic roundabout" is fun.
|
| |
Really surprised me here, solid album.
|
| |
I'm surprised to see the positive reception here considering the debut has low ratings to average ratings.
|
| |
want ABR stream
|
| |
^That, uhmm so having never heard this band... should i check this out?
|
| |
only if you've already listened to both the new laura stevenson and the cans and the new fucked up
|
| |
lol its a no then
|
| |
let's play a game:
name a metalcore band with a name after some book
my turn:
as I lay dying
of men & mice is obviously taken
next?
|
| |
Maybe add movies in there as well? Devil wears prada, drop dead gorgeous. That's all I can be bothered thinking about.
|
| |
this isn't even good. repeating apologies is the only track that stood out at all.
|
| |
This isn't bad. It's not amazing like everyone makes it out to be but it's enjoyable nonetheless.
|
| |
metalcore bands with a name after some book
+ as I lay dying
+ of mice & men
+ the devil wears prada
more?
|
| |
there is NO way I'm going to turn off Mozart's Sinfonia Concertante in E Flat Major, K.364/K.320d: Presto to listen to this album, no matter HOW surprisingly good you all claim it is...
|
| |
One of those bands where I hate their image and douchey members, but they make some damn good moshin' music.
|
| |
I'm kinda surprised by all the positive reception. It's better than their debut, but it's still only a 3.5-4 max.
|
| |
Its a 3 at best. Some reallllly gay breakdowns.
|
| |
So every hates Rise, but albums released by Rise are generally praised...?
|
| |
Who hates Rise
|
| |
cuz it's cool to be hatin' on a metalcore record company man.
|
| |
except Victory. I honestly can't think of a single "awesome" band on Victory. ADTR would be the closest to that, but their only album I like is FTWHH.
EDIT: I take it back. They have Darkest Hour, BTBAM, Funeral For A Friend, and The Sleeping.
|
| |
rise is pretty much all bad, though...
|
| |
from what i've heard, this is shockingly good, save for a few awkward moments in tracks 2-3
|
| |
carnifex and within the ruins are on victory. those are about the only others i can think of.
|
| |
lol i completely forgot about man overboard and transit. i still don't think of them as rise bands
|
| |
Victory have a few fucking awesome bands, the best being the melodic death band Wretched, who are god damn underrated as fuck. Within the Ruins is also cool, and I love Emmure, because I like percussive music. They also have Jungle Rot, who are legends. Carnifex is not bad, their newest album was cool, and I believe they have a few bands which I have never gotten around to listening. Most of their bands are complete horseshit though.
I happen to like almost every band on Rise, the only band I hate from is Abandon All Ships. So, imo, Rise is a pretty good label. Gotta listen to this album soon, their debut was not too bad.
|
| |
I love Emmure, because I like shit music.
fixed that for you
|
| |
Well I'm sorry, I know Emmure is ridiculous and makes very simple music, but I like listening to music for fun and some good ol' breakdowns are very fun when I'm in the mood. You can just turn your brains off and enjoy. Note that the only Emmure album I like is their newest one, which I found to be a huge improvement in songwriting compared to Felony, which sucked ass.
|
| |
you people make me sick. this is not APnet
|
| |
This band brings the zzzzzz's. And which one is Lennie?
|
| |
pretty impressed tbh
|
| |
Wow, this album is awesome.
|
| |
Oh my God. Has anybody heard "When You Can't Sleep At Night"? It's an album only track. It's amazing!

|
| |
austin carlile can fucking wail
|
| |
this is boring
|
| |
you people make me sick. this is not APnet [2]
|
| |
not yet anyway
where do they keep coming from
|

break down of any Sputnik news thread:
Regular Sputnik user: "My musical taste is far superior to your musical taste!"
Not so regular Sputnik user: "YEAH FUCK YOUR TERRIBLE MUSIC TASTE" (in hopes that the regular
Sputnik user they are trying to impress doesn't browse their "classics" and find a few deplorable
albums in there)
Andcas : ....
rinse, repeat.

Vocals are pretty SICK on this shit. I'm loving the mix too.
