Meh. I'm not a big fan of it, but it might grow on me. We'll see.

I love "Fragile Bird"
| |
Pretty good so far. Everybody hates on City on Colour on Sputnik. I don't know why.
| |
is it as awesome as bring me your love probably not idk if i wanna listen to it
| |
dallas green is the reason i like alexisonfire, but i could never get into city and colour...
| |
i will probably always love anything dallas green does so i'll probably like it. we'll see if i like it as much as bring me your love though. and yeah, i dunno what's up with all the negativity towards his solo work
| |
Sounded great on 1st listen. Great ambience and production. I preferred Sometimes to Bring Me Your Love.
| |
Love anything this man does.
If you don't like him, you're simply wrong.
| |
Loving it. Didn't expect anything different, though I will say Fragile Bird had me worried.
| |
gotta listen to this soon
| |
cool
| |
i like fragile bird, though i'll concede that it had me concerned a bit also. this album is shaping up to be pretty solid though
| |
I'm listening it now and I am pleasantly surprised. I like Fragile Bird for what it is, but I'm glad none of the other songs are in that style.
| |
I'm digging O' Sister and The Grand Optimist. Plunky/simple guitars with stripped down percussion (The Grand Optimist at least). They have an old-time feel to them.
| |
will wait till my vinyl arrives
| |
This man is so talented.
| |
stream isn't working for me.
O well, probably gonna buy this anyways
| |
Yeah the stream's only playing four of the songs now.
| |
Awwwwww Sheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeat
| |
It's sounding nice, I also don't get the City and Colour hate at sputnik. Has this leaked anywhere yet?
| |
after several listens, i like it a lot. not sure how it will fit compared to his other albums in the long run, but it's fantastic for what it is. and to deadinholywood, yeah it has. all you have to do is google it along with mediafire and i'm sure you'll find one
| |
^Thanks! Holy crap, this is far better than I thought it was going to be. Grand Optimist, O' Sister and Hope for Now (especially at about 2:40 when the band comes in) are my top picks for the minute but damn the whole thing seems to be very consistent.
| |
^my same faves at the moment.
| |
I miss the Sometimes era. I like the production, but I doubt this will ever grow on me.
| |
Looking forward to the whole album
| |
Ok so is his band called "Alex is on fire" or "Alexis on fire"?
| |
It's pronounced, "Alexis-on-fire"
| |
Thanks. I've always wondered. Ha ha.
