so, now they are a duo with a Pop-rock sound.

Nearly Witches is my favorite thing they've ever produced.

Yessir, that song is probably my most favourite on the new album.

I can see that, but this is feeling like it has more staying power than their latest E.P. imo

Pretty good, I've liked everything this band has produced. But I don't think this can compare to A Fever You Can't Sweat Out (for me anyway) as it just doesn't have those metaphoric, story telling lyrics which was a huge thing for me. Behind the great vocals and instrumentals, the lyrics are the only thing standing out to me as something that bugs me...

Lol way to ruin the party Scoot! I will say that I enjoy the beginning a bit more than the end, and "Nearly Witches" ended it off quietly rather than with a bang; I had hoped for the latter.

It's better than P.O but it's nowhere near AFYCSO. Some of the hooks are just terrible, like Hurricane's chorus.

their stripped out some of the trying-too-hard elements in their debut I didn't care for. yeah it's more accessible, and not quite as lyrically interesting. but it's as theatric and catchy as ever, which is why I listen to these guys.

Probably not. As much as I'm enjoying the album now, I can see the novelty wearing off quicker than usual.

I really enjoyed the initial rush though, but at the most I might get a few of the first tracks just for random moments.

Im dissapointed to be honest. I really wanted to love this but I can't help but compare it to afycso which was gold to me.

I have a review ready, but there's a fast-multiplying number of extra Vices & Virtues on their page. I don't want to deal with that crap, and I don't know how to fix it. Somebody who knows how should fix it so the controversial review posting can begin.

Never could get into this band so not gonna try now based off these comments...
