Started to read the little blurb on the Nuclear Blast website when I saw this:

"Swedish progressive melodic death metallers"

Then I stopped.

Regardless, glad to see that they are going away from the sci-fi themes. This will probably suck but I'll listen anyway.

Chaosweaver, Timewave Zero and The Illusionist are pretty good. Morphogenesis is decent. The rest, bleh.

Maybe they should take longer in-between releases. It might help them suck a bit less.

Now, I love these guys but kicking out Christian was the biggest mistake ever. They actually really suck now.

This band couldn't be more irrelevant to my interests. And to think... I used to worship these guys
around the time Pitch Black Progress came out...

I agree with Hawks. And the cover is so...plain, and it looks like something Slayer or DevilDriver would use.

Interesting concept they have for the album, but that was a pretty shitty album cover. No creativity at all.

I hope this album will be better than dark matter dimmensions .That album was a dissapointment ,otherwise ,i adore albums like holographic universe

I thought Holographic Universe was excellent, I guess I'll check this out. Cover art's very unimpressive though.

Band was alright with Christian, but they still weren't fantastic. If this doesn't completely suck I'll be surprised.

Just going to point out something about album art/book covers or whatever, a label generally speaking has more say than the band, if the label/publisher thinks it will help to sell albums no matter how shitty the art is, they will have the upper hand. The artist rarely gets more than a chance to voice their opinion.

So if the album art sucks (again generally speaking) blame it on the label.


That being said these guys have sucked big balls post Pitch Black Progress. That however is my opinion.

If the new clean singer didn't suck absolute camels dick live, i'm sure people would care about this more.

Been a modest fan of these guys for some time, though this doesn't really give me much of a boner.

Hopefully better than their last release, which I had high hopes for and then buried in my collection. Sigh.

Hahahaha my metalhead friend thinks that way. If a singer can do both well he thinks the guy is super talented. It's pretty annoying every time he goes "Hey, dude, listen to this singer. He can scream AND do falsetto."

All of u need to unmount Alvestams dick. I dont get why he is such an icon of a vocalist in the 1st
place. I would still be headanging to the song Prysm and Gate had it not been for his gay ass clean
vocals that i hear half a minute after the great intro and verse.

Last album was really disappointing. Hopefully this album the singers will be able work together better.

And Christian had smt to loose too when he left SS. The material he has taken credits for with them is by fta the best he has played.
