Eh, their newer stuff is enjoyable enough. Just 'cause it's not on the same level of El Cielo doesn't mean it's not any good. And besides, Hayes' voice is just angelic.

Pariah was inconsistent, but good. High highs, and low lows. But in the end, it was easy to pick which songs I would keep. You knew the good ones on the first listen.

so i just found out El Cielo is based on Dali and Sleep Paralysis. Will relisten.

For anyone wondering if they should check out this band, listen to El Cielo FIRST. It is far and away their best album. (It actually made top 10 sputnik albums of the decade.)

Pariah was a super cheesy album. Cielo and Leitmotif were masterpieces in their own right. Anyway, hope this album doesn't suck as bad as the title.

On the other hand, it might be a pretty good album. When I saw Dredg in November, they played a new song and it was pretty good.

There's loads more information about the album now, if anybody cares. Apparently it's 11 tracks, 40 minutes long. First single will be released April 19th.
