Saosin ended when Green left as far as I'm concerned. the same might be true for Tides of Man if they don't find a suitable replacement.

I'm still pissed that the Circa Survive CD case I found at the Salvation Army was empty. If I could've purchased that for the 1 buck they were asking for it, I would've been so happy.
At least they released Translating the Name though, that EP is amazing.

Cove was kicked out because he sucked. Tillian got kicked out because he expressed interest in replacing said person that sucked. So, a new band is going to suck because they may have or, may have not lost their vocalist to a band that already sucks.

This is because their first album had some rather proggy songs on it. The new record kind of sucks. They basically sold out.

I think the word progressive is slapped on there because it's hard to think of another word to describe the sound. They're progressive in the same way that Circa Survive are progressive. So whatever that means.

Ahh.. Would be shame to see this band falling into ocean of mediocrity. The first album was so amazing! Full of great guitar work especially on the long tracks. The sound they created might be not new but very much above your average prog-emo music. Dont really know how this whole frontman leaving event would affect, but my guess - nothing good! Especially since they are quite new.

Look at the history of progressive rock and understand where the meaning comes from. When I think progressive I think of odd time signatures, long songs, a concept album. This band really is not that progressive except for maybe the whole album being some sort of a concept. But terms do evolve over time to mean something completely different
