eh The Inevitable and I was better
|
| |
cool. not a bad band.
|
| |
Yeah. I found this release to be a bit lacking. Very laid back though.
|
| |
wow, i didn't think anyone knew these guys. i saw them about 2 years ago with The Rise of Science and they were excellent live. the singer is great live.
|
| |
they're pretty good. check em out.
|
| |
only reason i've heard of this band is because their songs were leaked as a fake album for some other band
|
| |
The Inevitable and I is enjoyable...this EP feels a bit like a step back, especially since the excerpts I heard sounded
just like rewrites of TIAI songs. Like A Tattoo is the "same" as An End Weight from the LP.
As a side note, I thought that Harvard became My Epic. The singer sounds the same (at least his style from TIAI), and
they're both Charlotte-based.

i call Columbia
|
| |
this is actually pretty nice.
|
| |
ehh
|
| |
Well they called the tracks "progressive interpretations" of The Ineveitable and I, so that's kinda what they were aiming for.
|
| |
Hm. That makes sense then; I didn't see where they were interpreting the LP. More like regressive interpretations,
though.
...eh, I don't consider these bad. I'll just have to give them a better chance when I'm not dog tired.

Had to listen a bit more. Neat to hear 'em tinkering around on the piano a bit more. I remember a smidgen of it here and there on the last release.
|
| |
ain't got shit on yale
|
| |
I've only heard the Animals EP, I actually saw these dudes a few years ago with Ocean Is Theory and I liked. Probably should check out their recent releases.
|
| |
Animals EP > TIAI for me.
|
| |
Terrible band name.
