1 - they've somehow managed to amass 100+ tracks in prep for the new album and as they slowly wade their way through the pile picking the ones they like the most, they're posting the culled ones up to keep fans satiated for now; or....
2 - there is no album and this is their apology

also notice the "label" part, it just reads "a major label"

The "leak" is a fake, the first three songs are v0, Stars is the Project Rodney 128kbps mp3 and YTYJFL is the same demo/stream rip people have had since '08. I have a vinyl rip of Lennon and it's mixed/mastered differently than the demo posted in '08 so this "leak" is bullshit. There won't be a legit digital copy of Lennon online until 1/1/11, just like the last four songs.

A lot of these songs I purposefully avoided listening to because I was sure they'd end up on an EP or LP, and I didn't wanna be disappointed. At this rate, though, I'm just gonna go ahead and listen to them now.

They're my favorite band. How do you define relevant anyways? Last I checked their 7" with ONE new song are selling for $50-200 on eBay when I buy them for $6 or wait a month to DL it like everyone else. Not to mention they've influenced literally hundreds if not thousands of bands throughout the last ten years while still maintaining a buzz and fanbase. But yeah kill yourself I like what I like
