Poor choice of examples. Chiodos has gotten attention because Craig Owens left and their new CD is actually good. An ADTR is just huge now regardless of scenesters. They play sell out shows every night in front of 1k-1500 people. The line to get in New Daisy was all the way down Beale Street. They are on MTV and I heard "All I Want" on ESPN during a game the other day.

This band, however, isn't good and I've had 3 comments deleted already saying they suck. So here goes another.

I think it's a pretty sad argument to simply judge people who like something as "scenesters". I like both those bands, I don't belong to a scene.

And as nash said, Chiodos got attention for a reason. Big shift, new singer, improvement. Besides, they were never like A Skylit Drive or A Day To Remember. Speaking of the latter, they're not very loved around here, anyhow.
