The band is good in VERY small doses and serves well as background music, around a song or two every now and then works well for me. And no, I'm not a deathcore fan at all, really.

Sorry Witch but this really blew. Also, the vocalist's higs are ok but how can you like his growls I have no idea. They sound pretty damn crappy if you ask me (they are powerful enough, I give you that, but the pitch of them just sucks).

He does a low mid range, a normal range growl, and then a really guttural one, the mid range is what he falls on because that's kind of the way things tend to be, it's probably that it's more a shout than a growl that bothers you, but I personally love stuff like that idk. And I didn't really like him on their other album with him so idk.

As far as As I Lay Dying and Killswitch Engage go, their music, while pretty generic, has plenty more depth and complexity to it than Oceono's music will, IN MY OPINION.

Opening riff is heavy as hell, reminds me of new TTEOTD, tremolo riff at 50 seconds has no chugging whatsoever, 1:07 is kind of eerie and atmospheric, I mean some of the riffs have chuggy parts to them, but that's like, a death metal thing, it's not like its just all breakdowns.

2. I keep pointing out the parts that aren't breakdowns, and people keep saying saying it's all chugs/breakdowns - proof that most of the people turned the song off after the first breakdown, because there's a tremolo riff right after it.

Personality, I like the band. Not original, but I think they have a fantastic vocalist for deathcore. Sure the music video sucks, but I've never actually seen a good deathcore music video to begin with, so I didn't have high hopes.
