Elton+candles=love 2006-10-04 by Patrick | 3 Comments | Elton John has launched a new line of candles and home fragrances in order to raise millions for his Elton John AIDS Foundation.
The star's fragrant collection, which is inspired by his lavish country home in Britain, will be sold in Bath & Body Works and White Barn Candle stores throughout the nation.
Harry Slatkin, president of Bath & Body Works' parent company Home Design, became pals with the rocker in 1998 when they developed a chic line of candles together.
Slatkin says, "He has a passion for candles. He is my kind of guy."
