Axl Rose Demos To Be Released 2006-02-02 by Dave de Sylvia EMERITUS | 3 Comments | Kevin Lawrence, former guitarist of local LA band Rapidfire in the early '80s, is to make available rare recordings of the band with their then singer, Axl Rose. The tapes were reportedly made in May 1983, and feature Rose sounding 'a bit more Rob Halford-ish.'
According to Lawrence's website ([url=http://rapidfire1983.com/]RapidFire1983.com[/url]), the five tracks are currently being mastered in LA in anticipation of release later this year. It's also claimed that cover art is being produced and included in the package will be plenty of pre-tattoo pictures of Rose.
