Let it Enfold you is great. Nothing else Senses Fail have done is any good really. I like Bayside a lot, but it seems kind of unusual to me that they'd tour with Senses Fail.
|
| |
Senses Fail moar liek Senses Fail...o wait
|
| |
I like these guys. All of their albums are good (and a bit different from each other). My favorite is still their first EP. That said, I would never bother seeing these guys live.
|
| |
Bayside suks but i'd see it for SF in a heartbeat
|
| |
^this comment is wrong
|
| |
i'd go for bayside alone.. title fight and balance and composure? i'm there.
|
| |
if ur ghey
|
| |
I was just listening to some shit off Let It Enfold You, it's probably their most consistent album. Still Searching is alright
but Life is Not A Waiting Room is meh.
Buddy can't sing live, but they played a nice headlining set when I saw them the first time.
|
| |
let it enfold you is fuggin atrocious. there's nothing consistent about it.
SS and LINAWR on the other hand are great records.
|
| |
haha funny kid
|
| |
i'm going to go to this (in hartford). bayside and balance and composure are badass.
|
| |
AND ITS SAD TO SAY THAT I STILL CRY TO THE BAYSIDE CD EVERYDAY

SF sucks live
|
| |
Hey man, Shudder was a damn good album. Agreed/Respect pointz.
|
| |
I sort of wanna see SF live just because of how bad everyone says Buddy is.
Bayside rule live.
|
| |
Haven't seem them live, would absolutely love to. Is his voice everything I want it to be and more?
|
| |
As bad as Buddy is at live singing he still puts on a good show. Bayside is sick though.
|
| |
Awesome tour, lame tour name.
Regardless, I will most definitely be at the Detroit show.
I'm a huge Bayside fan, and I seem to have this argument with my friends all the time. My opinion is that Shudder is just not up to par as their S/T, let alone The Walking Wounded. But there are many out there who feel Shudder is their break out record, which I disagree with. What does Sputnik think?
|
| |
I personally prefer their self-titled, but I know I'm in the minority on that. I probably have the other 3 albums all around the same rating. Shudder is great, but I wouldn't call it a "break out record".
Oh & btw, they are optimistic that their next album will be out before the end of the year. If not, it will be early 2011.
|
| |
I really like Shudder. More Bayside would be godly. Have they recorded or...? I haven't been following them at all since Shudder. I'm also a sucker for what I recall to be superior production value compared to the earlier ones. To be honest, I hadn't given anything before The Walking Wounded an earnest chance.

Echoing senses fail is terrible live. ive seen em on like 3 different occasions. all horrible
|
| |
I like Senses Fail, I dont know why either hahaha. Although they have to top the list as the worst band Live....ever!
|
| |
I enjoy both these bands.
|
| |
Buddy just get drunk before the shows, now..without the old guitarist (forgot his name) it would be worst as he used to do a lot of back vocals
btw Still Searching is my favorite album by them it won't be if you were expecting they to keep being some post-hardcore-ish band
|
| |
bayside is so goddamn underrated.
|
| |
I really do thoroughly enjoy their music. Shudder makes me....well, shudder sometimes.
|
| |
Buddy can't sing live, it sounded horrible. I'm not lying.
|
| |
New albums out on my birthday? Cool.
|
| |
Buddy and Anthony (via senses fail's twitter) went to quite a few Yankees games this summer, so I was guessing it was bound to happen. two amazing bands from to different genres is perfect. kind of like the senses fail and new found glory co-headliner back in '06
|
| |
Shut up
|
| |
woah this is weird.
I like Senses Fall but not enough to pay ridiculous prices to go see them.
|
| |
Yea, Buddy's vocal cords really take a beating on tour (that, and he's been sick for most of the last two tours). Heath (old guitarist) did an amazing job picking up the slack though last time I saw them, sucks that he's gone... Also, as rough as Buddy's singing is live, his screams are great (which I was NOT expecting). Either way they're really fun to see, rough singing or not.
Can't say i've listened to Bayside; where should I start?
|
| |
To be honest, it's all pretty good. Shudder might be the most accessible, but the Walking Wounded is too.
I'd suggest Shudder, personally. The Walking Wounded has a few guitar solos in it, though, which are pretty amusing.
|
| |
Haha thanks. Will check it out
|
| |
this really cant get better for me....im a huge sf fanboy, i love title fight and bayside....and i'm going for the kickoff and the day the album's out.
|
| |
Great post! I was looking forward and didn’t expect to see it so soon! Again, great, sound advice. Looking forward to read more under those new tabs you added!
regards.

Bayonet is really good
|
| |
Good to see Senses Fail getting some love (or at least tolerance) here. I like all their albums, can't really choose a favorite.
|
| |
I will definitely check that out.
Has anyone heard the new SF song on their myspace? Apparently they just put it up today. It's okay, it sounds like it could pretty much be on Life Is Just a Waiting Room.
|
| |
Wow i just checked out Bayonet and they are really good!!! Why is Budddy in senses fail again?
