TIME WILL HAVE US REALIZE
DIAMONDS REIGN ACROSS THE SKY
| |
I did a facepalm when I saw that they named it Diamond Eyes.
| |
meh
| |
Boom-Lay Boom-Lay Boom
| |
pretty sweet. always preferred their ballads though
| |
Yeah, Brick, I like their ballads more too. This is great though, sounds like Sound of Madness.
Aaaaand... commence 100 more comments of comparison to Deftones-Diamond Eyes.
| |
Stupid title is stupid title
| |
Band sux dix
| |
What the hell kind of name is Diamond Eyes?
That's stupid.
| |
((deleted for being dumb))
| |
ya ties, after more listens i fucking love it.
| |
This is so awesome. Makes me excited for whenever they release their next album.

this song is soooo awesome. i firmly believe The Shinedown are the best radio band out there right now.
| |
^That is an awesome and correct first comment.
| |
lol wtf at the deftones reference
| |
Alright Shinedown!
| |
Can't stand radio rock and right now shinedown are consuming 100% of my hate, I'm gonna listen to this and get all pissed off.
| |
Alright! Song Sucks!
| |
Sitting here, wishing my ears could vomit.
| |
This band is very expendable, replaceable by about, no less than 1000 other bands.
| |
omgggggggzzzzzzzzzzzzz they have songs on the radio, therefore they suck
| |
shit song, shit band
| |
omgggggggzzzzzzzzzzzzz they have songs on the radio, therefore they suck
[2]
| |
yeah but they do suck
| |
It's not the fact they're on the radio that bothers me, I just call this variety of radio friendly rock 'radio rock' and by concidence strongly dislike it.
| |
The article should've been titled "Shinedown release Diamond Eyes". I can guarantee you even MORE people on here would've been pissed off if you worded it like that.
| |
oh shit. i'm being attacked by all of these relevant users
| |
Shinedown is awesome. Good to see they still haven't lost it.
| |
The article should've been titled "Shinedown release Diamond Eyes". I can guarantee you even MORE people on here would've been pissed off if you worded it like that.
Which is why I didn't name it that. Like I need 100 comments of "OMG DEFTONES ARE AMAZING SHINEDOWN SUCKS THEY ARE NOT WORTHY TO HAVE A SONG CALLED DIAMOND EYES".
But good for you guys that hate anything and everything to do with radio rock and post it in any threads relating to a band in the genre. You make the site proud.
| |
^that is the point of sputnik, isn't it?
| |
Sucks So hard.
| |
Sounds better than new Deftones hurr
| |
Band sux dix

I'm not going to hate on Shinedown or this song, but seriously what are they thinking? That isn't just a Deftones song; it's their freakin' album title!?!?!?!?!?!?! Are they trying to get it linked/compared? Riding coattails?
| |
I don't understand! The boom-lay thing does do a nice job of separating the two though.
| |
They definitely should've chosen a different title, just to avoid the comparisons.
| |
Wait what the fuck boom-lay
I want Us and Them back
| |
I'm sure that Deftones are the favorite band of every single Shinedown member.
| |
GUNS!!!!!!! RAZORS!!!!!! KNIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIVES!!!!!
...ohwait.
| |
fly from the inside, 45 ,fuck this shit old shinedown with jasin on guitar was better
| |
were you trying to be clever with the article title?
| |
Somewhat. Just wanted to put something besides "New Shinedown song".
| |
doesn't really make any sense unless you're trying to say that Shinedown is an essential listen
| |
Well, the song is in "The Expendables", that's the joke. I know it's a lame pun, but I don't really care. It catches your attention.
| |
it's not a joke though, it doesn't make any sense because Shinedown sucks and is not essential in the slightest
| |
if you'd said "Shinedown Is Expendable," we're getting somewhere
| |
You're reading too much into it. Once anyone reads the description they get what it's about.
| |
ignorance is bliss
| |
Deftones are terrible, this is hilarious. Then again, Shinedown is a terrible band too...they deserve eachother.
Movie is going to be awesome though.
| |
dont care about the song at all
but holy fuck THIS MOVIE IS GOING TO RULE
| |
Ahahaha, Shinedown's still putting out music.
| |
It's not manly enough for the manliest movie of all the times.
| |
chuck norris should at least do the title song coz they darn left him out, and the eyes of the ranger are upon you, yes you sly
| |
this song owns ,,/
| |
awesome song. made me remember why i like shinedown
| |
Shinedown had promise with their first two albums. Now they are way too comfortable with their power ballad crap. I saw them live and all the singer did was preach and it did little to incite the crowd.
| |
they're second album had more ballads then the sound of madness...
| |
on a second listen, i still think this is good, but it is structurally identical to the song "the sound of madness"
-heavy as fuck intro
-the verses sound eerily similar
-the choruses come in at the exact same times in relation to the verses
-the choruses sound the same
kind of reminds me of linkin park and how "new divide" basically was "what i've done"
| |
Yeah I noticed that too, still doesn't make me like the song any less though.
| |
I'm listening to The Locust right now.
There's no way I am not going to turn off the Locust to listen to another bad Shinedown song, and that should say something.
| |
"they're second album had more ballads then the sound of madness..."
Not really. They were atleast a little less conventional than the stuff they're churning out now.
| |
kind of reminds me of linkin park and how "new divide" basically was "what i've done"
That was more forgivable because "new divide" was meant to be a sequel to "What I've done", as they were soundtracks to two films in a series
| |
anyone bitching about how they named their song diamond eyes is retarded. back in 2005 shinedown used the lyrics "Trade yourself in for diamond eyes" so now should i start bitching that deftones stole that from shinedown? no because its stupid to bitch about something like that. neither shinedown or deftones came up with the term diamond eyes, but shinedown was the first to use it.

This song has gotten me relistening to Sound of Madness for the first time in a while, still rules.
| |
