I didnt love it but I liked it. Stoked for album nonetheless, the contributions from the Flyleaf chick and Gojira dude should be rad. Think Lombardo does something here too.

I hope they don't continue that trend of trying to become an alt-rock band with the Three Days Grace guy and the like.
| |
It SUCKS !!! big time ....
| |
For a band that has 3 cellists, there's very little cello in this.
| |
I guess you're not familiar with them or familiar with the many sounds you can get out of a cello, thats all cello in that song.
| |
That's kind of cool then, song's a bit meh for me though.
| |
These guys are insanely boring. A bad gimmick that doesn't work.
| |
There singles suck, generally, but the instrumentals are generally always interesting
| |
Band is ok. Will check out. That is all.
| |
Nah, I own their s/t and can't sit through it all the way. The thing is, as proven by one of the above posters, you can't distinguish cello-metal from guitar-metal enough for it to be anything BUT a gimmick, written for those who know the difference already.
| |
...I own Inquisition Symphony, and this is absolutely nothing like it. What's the point of making your cello sound like a distorted guitar if you're just going to play boring radio rock...
This is bad. Their old cover music was much better.
| |
^^^exactly.
| |
nope.
Worlds Collide > their earlier stuff
| |
Don't really care about the band but Gavin Rossdale is a terrible choice for this. I think the darkest thing he ever said in Bush was like "GOT A MACHINE HEAD"
| |
Not a gimmick when you have talent. Their Metallica covers are terrific not to mention self titled and the other two records I have from them. Not distinguishing guitars from cellos.....uhh what.
| |
Keen for the instrumentals on this album. Their songs with singing are always pretty bad
| |
I like gojira
| |
Yeah, Gavin Rossdale makes the song pretty bad...
| |
ELECTRIC
FUCKING
CELLOS
| |
I DON'T CARE, I SWEAR....I DON'T CARE!!!!!!
