This is actually a pretty solid album. They have a different sound than Fragile Future, but they made a good recovery from that album. I really do like the song "nervous breakdown" i like how he kind of talks, it adds a lot to the song.

This band always improves with each album, but never quite gets anywhere.

They have the chemistry to write b-rate pop-punk-post-hardcore.

Okay listened all the way through, as usual a couple good songs and tons of filler.

it's pretty crazy how much they have changed. i remember i was pretty into these guys like soph/junior year of high school and even now that stuff seems way more original, although still not that great. i haven't really listened to them since their first release but this new album just sounds like every poor-mediocre pop band that is trying to make radio play. it's not terrible music, just not my taste.

Oh, definitely. I thought 'Gravestones' had some interesting dynamic, at the very least. That, and 'Here I Am' (while average) had a really cool timing change in the bridge that I totally didn't expect.

Come on, as much as I do love The Silence In Black And White (I have since 8th grade, and not ashamed of it), they were somewhat new to the music scene and a little oblivious and immature. They've been through a lot since 2004 and I think they've changed for the better. People are too harsh on them. Can't wait to see how this sounds.
