I liked The Resistance, but this is not very good at all, to say the least.

I really liked Isis.

I don't know how they can redeem themselves now.. FFS, where is the Muse who wrote good songs similar to Hysteria, Assasin, New Born, Plug In Baby, Micro Cuts, Sunburn , Muscle Museum, etc.. The Resistance was OK(Undisclosed Desires is still the worst song they wrote and that was bring my rating for this album at 3) . This song reminds me of bad Knights of Cydonia.

But please people don't let the hate the Resistance brought, tarnish what you will hear of the next album,songs they will write.

Still I don't get the hate the Resistance get here(even if it is their worst album so far). It received good reviews from almost everyone beside two or three reviewers.

I still hope that the Resistance was an album to get some more fans and the next one will be a return to what makes them great. If they write another album like the Resistance, I will live with it and never says they're sellouts. Sellouts are Metallica even if it is my favorite band just for the 4 first albums. The only bad thing about their new style is Matt's lyrics are obviously just worse, I can't deny that. But as pop as opposed to alternative this is really good stuff.

I like to think of Muse now as a great band that never made The Resistance. I don't even have The Resistance on my iPod or iTunes. The other day I was listening to a bunch of their b-side tracks, such as Fury, Easily, Hyper Chondriac Music, Spiral Static, Host, and Eternally Missed. Now those were some great songs.

"Fury" is my favorite muse song. check out "Shrinking Universe" too...

Guys chill. This is a song for Twilight, obviously it's going to suck. The rest of the Muse albums are still good (The Resistance is decent, at least). This isn't necessarily their new song; it's made for the Twilight fans. Wait until the next album to make the judgement.
