i hear this is good
| |
had dled this an hour ago.. gonna listen to soon ^_^ (after Forgiveness Rock Record which is quiet good.. 3.5 or so)
| |
I can't wait till it starts working
| |
never heard circa survive, will change that now.
| |
Not one for streams. I'll pick this up when it drops. Hopefully it keeps me interested longer than Juturna and On Letting Go. Solid cds, but little lasting value for me.
| |
So i'm getting the vibe that Anthony Green finally surpassed Translating the Name?
| |
Everyone should listen to this.
| |
Man, I would listen to this but I am at school right now.
Daaaangit.
| |
theres only a couple new songs posted when i go to their myspace, not the entire album...
| |
Never listened to the band before, although I heard this was good. Hmmmm.
| |
It's only the first five songs that are up. Which is a shame because the sixth is godly.
| |
k, I love this.
| |
Personally disliked this.
| |
AND...
...The Scensters Rejoice...
| |
^bite me.
| |
I guess there'll be about five reviews by this time tomorrow...
| |
If I've never listened to the band can I start with this album?
| |
No, you'll be arrested
| |
Oh hahahahahahaha
| |
i love this band, but i thought this album seemed to drag on a bit as a whole
on that note, its pretty awesome ha
| |
It's where it flows through meeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee
| |
Honestly mate as I haven't listened to this record yet I couldn't tell you.
The only one I've heard is "On Letting Go", their second album.
However this one is streaming freely so you might as well kick off with this one.
| |
Being a huge fan of Juturna, I was not impressed.
| |
not as mind-bending as i hoped for. why do they start to sound like The Used by the fourth song? GROSS. sounds too commercial for Circa.
| |
I think it's stupid that when a modern band does a few poppy songs (ala Dyed in the Wool and a few others), they're accused of selling out or being unoriginal. Yet when you look at all the classic bands like The Cure, Velvet Underground, Radiohead, Smiths, Talking Heads, Smashing Pumpkins, the Beatles... They all had shitloads of poppy songs.
| |
Only got about halfway through, but it seriously does blow Juturna and On Letting Go away so far. Definite buy.
| |
I get a cure/paramore feel to this.. I hope this grows on me
| |
haha i hear ya. but the beatles and radiohead smartened up and went less conventional as they evolved...i definitely plan on listening to this exessively, and its not bad at all, just almost too easy to swallow.
| |
epic
| |
this is sooooooooooooooooooo good.
| |
this might be the first of their albums i actually like
| |
Not entirely done with it (not even close), but I can already tell you I plan on buying this.
| |
meh
| |
Loving 'Get Out'.
| |
boner
| |
Stoked.
| |
dont like it. juturna is alot better imo
| |
REALLY good, but kinda hit or miss in some parts.
"can I start with this album?"
try On Letting Go first, then skim Juturna, then do this one. it really helps to see the progression that they made
| |
^^^ Really weird and interesting to boring with a few nice bits.
| |
Idk this is pretty cool, but im pretty sure i like the old stuff better. I feel like Anthony's trying too hard, especially with some of the lyrics. Some pretty sick parts though
| |
Through the Desert Alone is sick
| |
I was super worried about this because I was in love with their first two albums, but I consider this a step in the right direction. They're evolving, and proving to be dynamic songwriters. There's only so much you can do with the same sound, and I think they nailed this one too. Album launches on my birthday, I'm excited.
| |
Very awesome so far.
| |
epicness...finally.
green woke up.
| |
maybe i dig now....
| |
it grows on ya.....been listening to it. Dont know how it does by comparison to their other stuff because well....the other two had about the same sound and this one changes it up a bit....i think its pretty great.
