can't even hear about this band without thinking about the press release where they got arrested for having pot and said they were breaking up
"They stripped me naked had me lift my ballsack up so they could check underneath it, and then had me bend over and spread my asscheeks apart so they could look inside my asshole"
hahahahahaha
| |
The bass.....she is incredible....
| |
Brain Drill are fucking awful.
| |
they are entertaining to say the least
| |
lol one of the songs is called "Monumental Failure"
also BEYOND BLUGEONED
| |
album title describes their music near-perfectly
| |
i like em
| |
one of the worst bands of all time
| |
lol, band is about as bad as Viraemia.
| |
cannot wait
| |
Wow. Definitely some haters in here. Hate for BrainDrill and Viraemia. Interesting. So what is it you listen to?
| |
seriously, overunderrated band
| |
Ideally something with some sense of a "feel." Those moments are pretty short lived in Brain Drill. For a band that can record tempos this fast, they'd be better off using more variation than what sounds like 280-300 BPM on every song. Gravity blasts and sweeps are just overused in this band, I think. I'll just wait for new Defeated Sanity.
| |
gah dam that riff near the end of monumental failure is fucking headbang inducing
| |
guilty pleasure. will listen
| |
They're not bad. Not amazing but they do alright.
| |
The album artwork or whatever that picture is on thier myspace is fucking awesome.
The music is disgustingly intriguing.
| |
And really, they are pretty fucked up pieces of shit.
| |
oh look another brain drill album i can give a 1/5
| |
ZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz
| |
OMFG BRAIN DRILL
sucks
| |
ill probably check this out.
i never really got into brain drill before, but what i've heard by em wasnt all that bad.
i cant believe they originally broke up over weed..
| |
and LOL! at the dude above me saying brain drill sucks, yet he's digging vanilla ice
| |
Yeah there's absolutely no way he was kidding about that or anything
| |
irony is a dead scene =(
| |
they do seem to have gotten a tiny bit better...but still...
| |
I may look into this. "Apocalyptic Feasting" showed some impressive musicianship, if only in the form of speed, but it did get a little "samey" after about the third song.
| |
I appreciate the unfounded hate on this band.
Very enjoyable for angry bursts when you feel like it. Also I like their awe-inducing chops.
| |
that was pretty boring. i listened to one track, and from what i've heard, this sounds just like their last album. they havnt progressed at all, even with new members, its nothing but fast technical shit the whole way through with the occasional headbanging moments.
| |
if you don't like tech death, then you won't like this band. why keep flaming the same things over and over? i don't troll around bring me the horizon reviews and try to convince them how bad they are, i just give it a 1 and move the fuck on.
regardless, viraemia and braindrill are both fun in limited doses (as in one playthrough a month). more than that, and it just gets boring.
| |
this wasn't as bad as i had thought it'd be. but boring in the long run. there was very little groove going on. same reason i'm not a fan of psyopus
| |
This band is a guilty pleasure of mine. the drum sound on these new tracks sounds slot better then I remember the last one sounding. But still WAY too triggered!
| |
snaresnaresnaresnaresnaresnaresnaresnaresnare
| |
no more marco, no interest here.
| |
its actually a huge improvement, but still not worth anyone's time.
| |
Yay because the world needs more pointless tech death.
At least their name describes the music pretty good (like taking a Drill through the ear).
