Yes less Guns 'n Roses. Not a single Tony Iommi, not a single Vivian Campbell, not a single Glenn Tipton/KK Downing! And Randy Rhoads on 34! Shame on the voters! The other 20 can be found here

I find these lists always so predictable, it always the same bands and the same songs. They should look past some of the old classics. I would have put the guitar solo by avenged sevenfold on bat country, it's awsome, I recommend for someone to listen to it and the solo for open your eyes by alterbridge.

This mofo.

Eruption isn't a solo, it's just a complete wankfest.

And especially this one here.

^haha. I like this list quite a bit because I've heard most of these songs and I love most and agree, but I don't think Comfortably Numb is no. 1, maybe three or four but there's definitely better stuff.

If you mean RTL as in Ride the Lightning, thats my favorite metallica solo. but not near my top of all time.
And to the octavarium comment up there, Petrucci has a lot better solos than that song.

I think Yngwie Malmsteen's "Deja Vu" could have made it on here. Not nearly his most difficult, complicated, or longest, but if anyone heard it they would be hooked to it.
