Their vocalist is really annoying live. The bass player was pretty funky though.
|
| |
last time I checked this wasn't indie rock, but whatever.
lol yeah their vocalist is really weird live. He licked the microphone a few times...
|
| |
Seen these guys a few times by accident and ive hated them every time.
|
| |
i mean who wears sandals on stage really. take it back to the beach hippies
|
| |
saw these guys last year supporting finch. they were pretty close to stealing the show.
I'm pretty excited for this anyways.

holy shit finally a working avatar

Lucy Gray was pretty awesome. Singer is a bit egotistical. New stuff sounds too mainstream rock; new drummer to blame, IMO.
|
| |
@nkn3390 They don't have a new drummer, if you didn't notice in their latest video Ryan is playing the drums in the studio. Not to mention that drums alone can't make something mainstream. I will say it's a lot different, but I like the way it's progressing. I haven't heard anything much like it before.
|
| |
Oh. My bad. I didn't notice that was Ryan; I actually thought it was Joe Zizzo from The Sleeping because they said he would be filling in for them. I do think that the way the drums are played have a large impact on a record's sound, but you are probably right in saying that they can't change the direction of an album. I was a huge fan of Lucy Gray so I'm just hoping that it lives up to the impact that album had on me.

Hey sexualsoybean, youre a moron. Who gives a flying fuck if they wear sandals on stage? Ive listened to the entire new album and its pretty kick ass. "Like I Do" is a great song. Their new style is pretty unique imo and I love it.
