Birmingham heavy metal legends Judas Priest will re-issue their seminal album British Steel to coincide with its 30th anniversary on May 10.

The expanded set includes the remastered edition of the album, released in 2001, as well as a live CD and DVD featuring the band performing the album in its entirety during their 2009 US tour, as well as some additional documentary and behind the scenes footage. The concert portion was mixed by British Steel producer Tom Allom.

I already have this album remastered, so I don't see the point in doing it again, even if it has more content. Only about half the songs are good, anyway.

Album is pretty good, but has always been highly overrated. Anniversary release is not necessary, they did a remaster of their entire back catalogue (except for Rocka Rolla and unfortunately Sad Wings of Destiny) in 2001, which is fine as it is.

Painkiller is far superior than this. Judas Priest are Metal Gods, Period. Most of their music is Gold.
