Was I the only one who thought the new song was... just OK? I'm not shitting on the album or anything; I could not be more excited for it, and as soon as they get the Canadian pre-orders sorted out I'll be ordering the special edition, but the bridge is kind of a mess, and Claudio's voice seems a little too deep during the verses. Maybe it'll grow on me, we'll see I guess.

i thought it was good but not crap my pants good. it's hard to hold coheed to the standards they've set for themselves. I would say 9 out of 10 where CC averages around 14 out of 10

Hmm, sort of sounds like if Vol 2 was done right to me. Definitely way better than the first song they released from Vol. 2 (The Running Free), this was nice to hear, I didn't know what to expect from this, thought it would be another mediocre radio-friendly single.

They've said it's not going to be the official single, which makes sense, cause that song definitely doesn't scream "Single" to me.

Great Song, not fapping like alot of people but looking forward to this.

I think the chorus is pretty weak but I love the verse and the bridge leading up to the end.

I hope they maintain the variety of sounds they've had on all their previous records. They're great when they're heavy and powerful but I love their melodic tunes just as much and i'd like to see some more of that because they do it really well. I hope Ross hasn't switched up their sound tooo much.

With that said, YotBR is my most anticipated album release ever.

Just listened to the full thing.. lukewarm but not too bad.

It's better than most of NWFT imo. Enjoyed it a lot, hopefully one of the weaker tracks on the album.

I really don't like the direction these guys have been taking with the last two cd's. They would have been better if they didn't get so popular. They completely deserve all the fame they've got because they're an incredibly talented, hard working band. I get the impression that they don't have quite as much creative control over their music since they signed to Columbia. I remember when I first started listening to GA1 I couldn't believe how different in sound it was from their older stuff. It was still an amazing CD in it's own right and sure I shouldn't be comparing albums but it felt like on that album they were being told what to play to sell more records. Then GA2 came out and I felt betrayed. Oh well...

jlaw I'm kind of with you, but I thought GA1 was pretty damn good still. GA2 sucked a big fat one, but I think this song is great.
