I have never heard of the "Canadian Music Festival", but given the timeline, I'm assuming this is a new name for Canadian Music Week.

The banner on their site is hilarious[ly bad]. Platinum Blonde, Slash and Dave Stewart? Yikes. Platinum Blonde I understand, just because one of their members owns arguably the best venue in the city, but the rest? Eep. I'm not sure they know what their demographic is at this point.

That was the only part that peaked my interest, I must see Adebisi Shank live.

It'd be kind of fun, in a 90's kinda way, to see em play sex and candy.

It takes place throughout the entire city for about a week. It's similar to NXNE and SXSW.

I'm not going if Nickleback isn't going. Nickleback wrote Canada's national anthem.
