Make more awesome solo records, John. Best of luck from me.
| |
Good, he was largely responsible for the dross they've been producing since 2002. Now maybe Flea will start to write more of the music
| |
I do agree that RHCP was really starting to become stale, so this probably is a good thing. Plus it's always good to get some new blood. Im not familiar of this Josh Klinghoffer guy, but his track record certainly seems to speak for itself.
| |
Been thinking about this and more solo records seems like the right way to go right now.
| |
this is the best thing for the band, as they were starting to weaken. Maybe Klinghoffer can resurect the funk, also John can make more solo stuff, which is awesome
| |
wow. this is crazy. i have to admit, his best days with the peppers are long gone. cheers to him and the rest of RHCP

anybody ever notice how the drummer looks alot like will ferrell?
| |
not until now lol

But he's a beautiful being, so all is forgiven for saddening me

WILL FERRELL

| |
Definitely the best decision for both parties.

i dont like the chilil peppers, but i like john. i agree, and i think both will benefit from this split.

man i didn't know will ferrel played the drums
Didn't you see Step Brothers?

"Why are you all sweaty?"

I'M GONNA PUT MY NUTS ON YOUR DRUMSET

John Bonham playing Moby Dick for real!

Good, he was largely responsible for the dross they've been producing since 2002. Now maybe Flea will start to write more of the music

best decision for both parties

He probably realised how much of a dick Anthony really is
| |
Will Feral joke is old. I dunno whether or not I'm sad or excited about this...
Perhaps they'll get the funk back? I have a feeling Jogn will be back...
| |
This kinda sucks, but as everyone has said, hopefully the funk will be brought back and the Peppers will be less stale. John's a great guy and he did the best for both parties. The new guitarist is really really good and will bring a new flavor to the group. Im excited to hear what is gonna happen.
| |
lol at Will Feral. Is that a wild, undomesticated version of Will Ferrell?
| |
I actually liked Stadium Arcadium, but this is for the best.
BRING BACK THE FUNK!
| |
Bring back the funk? Are you retarded? They tried doing that. We got 'tell me baby' and 'AIDS in a teacup'. What they need to do is fire Kiedis and become an instrumental band
| |
hopefully he just relistened to Stadium Arcadium and realized how much it sucked
| |
Stadium Arcadium was Frusciante's baby, now he's gone Flea should step up
| |
Please no more Will Ferrell lookalike comments. Everytime there is a chili peppers article half the responses are "wow he looks like will ferrell"
We all know that already
| |
One Hot Minute is growing on me quite a bit, I love Frusciante but a new guitarist excites me about a new record.
| |
groin on me
All I read from your post
| |
I see it captivated your attention then... I'll make a note of that.
| |
be back in about six months when he notices the steady decrease in his bank account.
| |
I hope your joking because with just an album like Californication, he'll have enough money off record sales and radio airplay to keep him comfortable for the rest of his life.
| |
john frusciante is cool but i think this is good news
| |
he's going to make plenty with his solo records so that is a dumb argument
| |
OMG BUT HE REALLYZ LOOKS LIKE WILL FERRREL
| |
This is great news, means he gets to put out more GOOD records than those turds that are always ruined by that fucking lead singer.
| |
Id also like to chime in and say how much of a dick John is. Why do I say that? Well for starters, the band bent over backwards for him since he returned in 98. He became more and more the primary songwriter, which in turn became less funk and more pop. Another thing was his refusal (and RHCP giving in) to playing ANYTHING off of One Hot Minute (with the exception of Pea), which sits nicely among the best albums by them. Talented he may be, but he really comes off as a priss. He must be happy that he has RHCP wrapped around his finger.
| |
YESSS. i always thought that about will ferrell
| |
NNNNNOOOOOOO!!!!!! He added soooooo much to the band, it's a great loss for RHCP, but I know that they'll do fine without him.
