Actually, despite that I don't really like Metallica, I might listen to this, just because it sounds like an interesting listen.

Maybe it's just me, but this sounds like an obnoxiously stupid idea.

It's marketing the name of a huge band for something that's completely unnecessary. So yes, on one hand you're right, but on another, I don't think we should be so quick to judge on how the differing insturments might affect the sound.

I checked out the site, they have bites from just the Metallica album. Its done pretty well, I gotta say if I had kids I'd rather listen to this than some other shizer

i read the title "Rock A Bye Jamesy" and told myself "what has MetallicA sold out to now?" joking around with my own thoughts... who'd a thunk it truly was about MetallicA selling out more of their music... but to be honest, MetallicA still rules and i like other MetallicA fans will be curious and more than likely find a way to listen to these songs... why, because we like it that way :-D

i just heard the songs and think that they are awesome... except Enter Sandman, i thought it sounded nothing liek Enter Sandman, but NEM already sounds soothing, so it wasn't that big of a change

my daughter is going on two and has been listening to the music i listen since she was born. including metallica. so i don't really need to get anything watered down for her. she likes it as is.

i don't get when people want to try to put thier music in different forms how that means "selling out" two or three of the band members already have children right? so why is this such a surprise?

To prevent MY child from listening to crap, ill just use the Mozart method, but instead ill blast Metallica and Pantera so when my child is born they will be the meanest s.o.b. around.

The drummer did it because most people with newborns are gonna be at the store buying diapers more then on the computer. So they'd rather buy it while they were there then download it from napster =]

when I get a kid I'm gonna have him get in to my type of music and teach him guitar before he walks, just like 711. anways this doesn't seem that bad of an idea. i mean it's prbably better on teh kid listening to a softer version of their songs then the real deal.

i dont think metallica should be bashed for this,
because,

1. Metallica arnt involved in the making of this.
2. They are not funding for this.
3. They probably dont know about it.
4. They arnt making any money from it.

God but it sounds depressing
