i just hope they leave all that faith no more worship on ire works and return to the layered, psuedo-atmospheric approach of Miss Machine.

They need to leave behind Miss Machine and Ire Works and go back to Calculating Infinity and Irony is a Dead Scene, in my opinion

I second Adam's first post. I enjoyed the melodic songs on Ire Works, but I don't want more. I want more technical songs like 43% Burnt, Panasonic Youth, and Sugar Coated Sour.

There are a bunch of clips of new stuff and there's a lot of indication that there will at least be some songs that are balls out insane on this. Their new drummer doesn't seem interested in playing slow.

i really don't understand the hate over Ire Works. yes its disjointed, and the middle especially, drags a bit. but overall i loved that album.
March 23rd cannot possibly come fast enough. needs to hurry.
speed of sound < speed of light < DEP

you know, i was never a big fan of Irony is a Dead Scene, which i'll prolly get skewered on this site for saying. Would love to see something in the vein of Miss Machine tho. That album had a nice balance and flow to it

Too bad this is still so far off being released tho.

They've done no wrong. Ire Works was solid as their others, just a step to the left in production.

I like Ire Works alright, but it's got nothing on the rest of their discography. And yes, there was some FNM worship going on, but that all started with Miss Machine (ironic to me though, because IIADS had Patton on it and actually had less of a FNM sound). I think it's more that Greg worships Patton than the band worships FNM actually. But let's not just blame Ire Works for that.
