i just hope they leave all that faith no more worship on ire works and return to the layered, psuedo-atmospheric approach of Miss Machine.
| |
probably not...
but heres hopin for for it anyways.
| |
stoked. gonna be awesome
| |
well they did play that one song live and it was fappable but still yeah its gonna be awesome
| |
That's my birthday. Based on that I may end up checking this band out now.
| |
oh shit just actually looked at the date and i thought it was getting released this year so now i'm sad =(
| |
wtf. pick up Miss Machine asap.
@kris: yeah, because March 09 is right around the corner...
| |
is there any video of new songs?
| |
@kris: yeah, because March 09 is right around the corner...
what? its like 5 months away. i thought it was gonna be released before the end of the year
fool
| |
YES! This album better be amazing.
| |
They need to leave behind Miss Machine and Ire Works and go back to Calculating Infinity and Irony is a Dead Scene, in my opinion
| |
I second Adam's first post. I enjoyed the melodic songs on Ire Works, but I don't want more. I want more technical songs like 43% Burnt, Panasonic Youth, and Sugar Coated Sour.
| |
There are a bunch of clips of new stuff and there's a lot of indication that there will at least be some songs that are balls out insane on this. Their new drummer doesn't seem interested in playing slow.

i don't see a problem with this at all
| |
Stoked for this. I'm a big fan of Ire Works, so i hope they continue in that direction.
| |
only heard calculating infinity but it was the definition of insanity. Can't wait for this.
| |
not a big fan, but definitely looking forward to this
| |
ire works rules miss machine rules option paralysis will rule
| |
^ What he said.

"i just hope they leave all that faith no more worship on ire works and return to the layered, psuedo-atmospheric approach of Miss Machine."

everybody shut up every album they've put out has been magical
| |
the cd title is kind of lame
| |
No the FNM worship thing is a valid point.
| |
Album is going to slay.
| |
mmmmmmmmmm March
| |
Fucking excited.
| |
yer the studio excerpts and demos they showed on youtube all sound pretty fucking crazy so heres to hoping for a return to form
| |
i really don't understand the hate over Ire Works. yes its disjointed, and the middle especially, drags a bit. but overall i loved that album.
March 23rd cannot possibly come fast enough. needs to hurry.
speed of sound < speed of light < DEP
| |
hopefully better than ire works
| |
you know, i was never a big fan of Irony is a Dead Scene, which i'll prolly get skewered on this site for saying. Would love to see something in the vein of Miss Machine tho. That album had a nice balance and flow to it
Too bad this is still so far off being released tho.
| |
a day before my birthday, this is a good omen
| |
Hell yeah! One of my favorite bands, really looking forward to this.
| |
can't wait.
| |
I can't wait for this.
I actually hope this follows the lead of Ire Works, I loved that album.
| |
man March is the month of baby birthing....ironically my birthday is also in March
| |
That's not ironic.
| |
yeah whats with everyone saying shit is ironic.
omg your name is satellite and youre on sputnikmusic.com! IRONIC
| |
Lol at ^
as for the classic "old" vs "new" debate ...
I enjoy pretty much all their material... But I kinda hope they take a new dirrection altogether...
| |
Auuuuuuuuugh gief
| |
(Probably) Ire Works + (Hopefully) Calculating Infinity = Option Paralysis
| |
They've done no wrong. Ire Works was solid as their others, just a step to the left in production.
| |
Looking forward to this, not much of a fan of their later works but yeah sounds good.
| |
This album is going to ruleeeeeeee
| |

'cept ire works actually sucked
| |
I like Ire Works alright, but it's got nothing on the rest of their discography. And yes, there was some FNM worship going on, but that all started with Miss Machine (ironic to me though, because IIADS had Patton on it and actually had less of a FNM sound). I think it's more that Greg worships Patton than the band worships FNM actually. But let's not just blame Ire Works for that.
| |
'cept ire works actually sucked
Yeah, if you're an idiot and only listen to albums once before making up your mind on them.
| |
Yeah, Ire Works was pretty awesome.
| |
this is just noise...
| |
i poop'd and came. then poop'd on the poop and came. the use of choral lalala's was interesting ♫
