Great video, great song. Great feel about the whole album. Saw them at Sonisphere and have nothing to say against.

No such thing as Alice in Chains without Layne. The lyrics in this song are just bland compared to their previous efforts.

They were awesome at Sonisphere...as in seriously awesome. I think this is gonna be an immense album

Can't wait, seriously this sounds badass

You're free not to care. And go back and put your nose into Layne's AIC. Life is moving on.

Its pretty good, hopefully the album will be good too. But just in case... how much are hats these days?

I think it's weird how people can't imagine AiC without Layne...sure he had a great voice and all...but Jerry always wrote the majority of their music anyway. Sure he will be missed, but it's not like he was the creative force driving the band's music anyway...I'm glad this album was made.

Ironic considering Cantrell wrote 90% of AIC's music/lyrics

LOL U SURE OWNED ME!

That's not irony because that wasn't the point I was making. Layne's voice, whether or not the lyrics or the music was written by him, made the band. And whether or not Cantrell writes the vast majority of the music and lyrics doesn't make this instance any better. Anyone can rhyme fun and sun.

Fail. Maybe it would be good if Layne Staley never existed, but no one should even attempt to replace him. I've heard the new guy sing Man in the Box and Would? and it's horrible. Just have Jerry sing everything. It would be better.

Idiot remark there...just go back to youtube comments where you belong.

It's not a matter of "owning", it was just fact. Believe it or not, there's actually civilized discourse in forums.

In all honestly this album will probably be a little worse than anything from the Layne era. Not saying it won't be really good.

Anyone who thinks AIC was anything without Cantrell is clearly an asshat. The entire AIC sound is all Cantrell and you don't need to be a scientist to know that AIC's music has been incredibly influential in modern rock and metal bands. Those harmonies are practically trademarked. Layne was a fantastic singer, but with no music behind him he'd be a guy singing to no one and Jerry's guitar work was just as influential and important to their sound as Layne
BTW album leaked. Going to listen now...

I just listened. I'm honestly disappointed. Only real standout was the title track and it felt about two minutes too short. Maybe it'll be a grower.

I'm digging this like whoa. Album's pretty damn good and thoroughly kicks the crap out of anything modern rock is offering
